nonda NDMDBKAMZ USB-C To Mini Display Port Adapter

I bought this to connect my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop to two Dell Ultrasharp monitors (via displayport daisy chaining). It worked like a charm after the monitors were properly configured. It had no issues dealing with both monitors native display resolution (2540x1440 and 1920x1200). I've been using it for a few weeks now and have run into no display issues.It's well constructed from plastic material. The fact that the USB-C connection folds away into the casing is reassuring (it's unlikely to snap off as I hastily pack it into my backpack).The only negative I've found is the design of the USB-C connection. It juts out slightly and nearly blocks off the USB 3 port beside the USB-C port on my laptop. I can still use the USB 3 port, but have to connect the cable at a slight angle. Keep this in mind if you have another port very close to the USB-C port on your device.

The company was extremely courteous and helpful. They sent me a replacement unit when the first failed to connect a Dell XPS laptop to Apple Display monitor. The second however, also fails to connect the laptop to the monitor. The item is not faulty as I tested it on a MacBook and it works perfectly well.I am quite disappointed as on the face of it this should connect a mini display to a USB-c but unfortunately it only seems to work for Apple systems.

I chosed this one because it looks like someone spent sometime in the design.Is SUPER tiny! Using that with a 13” MacBook Pro with touchbar to connect it to an old 30” Apple Cinema Display and it works perfect with no resolution issues. Also using a usb c to usb adaptor so USB ports on display are working too.

Moving to a new MacBook pro with USB-C is pretty laborious and expensive as nothing you previously owned will connect so you gotta get dongles, cables, hubs and whatever. This display adaptor was well priced compared to Apple adaptors and worked straight out of the box with my Eizo 24" monitor. It was quickly delivered too. Recommended if you have an older thunderbolt display and newer USB-C.

I bought the adaptor as an extension for my macbook pro, which only has USB C ports. My timemachine LaCie drive only uses thunderbolt ports. There's no connection to the drive from the laptop, so I've had to use a different method. therefore the adaptor is useless

Well built and works great

Didn’t work with my MacBook Pro and thunderbolt Cinema Display. Needs a way to route power through the adapter from the mains. If this had that capability it would be amazing.
