Q: What size swivel do you need to attach it to line? My swivel was too small. Thanks.

1000 lb test snap swivels. I remove the the comercial snap and attach the snap swivel directly to the light for deep dropping.

Q: Can you use this for offshore Bottom fishing?

Yes - Clip to top of your rig to attract bait and fish.

Q: Can you set it to steady mode so it doesn't blink?

No. I believe that the single colored lights do not blink.

Q: What is the frequency these strobe at? Can it be changed?

The multi colored (similar to a disco ball) has varied frequency (slow then fast then repeats). The single colored type has a slow single frequency. They cannot be adjusted.
