Brain Improvement
This product is great, surprisingly easy to swallow and pretty much tasteless. I have seen an improvement in my mental capacity since taking these every day for about 2 months. I’d say there is a loading phase where you need to take these without seeing an improvement but once it’s in the system, it’s great. Less brain fog and more focus, less forgetting and more alertness. Highly recommended.

GMP product with a range of products that may benefit cognition
The Troo Health Care - Lion's Mane Mushroom + arrives in a plastic container - it does not state if the container is recyclable or not.The container has printing on it - and it would be suitable for a gift. Printed on the container are the ingredients, the expiry date (21-03-25) and the dosage. The product is manufactured by GMP - which is important for product qualityThe capsules contain -lion’s mane extract, alfalfa, acerola fruit and black pepper.Lion’s mane has the following compounds: hericenones and erinacines which may benefit the brain. Unfortunately, Troo Health does not state the amounts of either of these compounds in their preparation. So I cannot compare this product with the research that has proved effective for cognition in the elderly. But it may be fine as Troo Health say a capsule is equivalent to 1.5g of mushroom and as long as their extraction process is effective in extracting the above products - then it should have some activity. There are other studies in humans where there is evidence of efficacy - a small study in post-menopausal women to lower anxiety and a study in patients with ulcerative colitis where some improvement was found. All other claimed benefits are from animal studies. The alfalfa addition will be nutritionally valuable - but there are no studies I am aware of in humans for a defined benefit. This is true for the acerola cherry addition - which should raise Vitamin C as long as the berries were not ripe. The black pepper may aid absorption.Overall The product has interesting ingredients that will be nutritionally beneficial and may be therapeutically beneficial for some cognitive and possibly other brain conditions. There are 120 capsules so 4 months supply, the product is GMP manufactured and the price is £18.00 which is reasonable. It would be good to know the concentration of active ingredients - but if this is not possible I would certainly be happy to try the product to see if I notice any effect - so yes at that price I may well purchase.

Better than gummies or powder
I have been a long-time advocate for taking Lion's Mane supplement and the established benefits this brings to one's mental faculties.Having previously used powder, that was hydrophobic and thus would not dissolve into liquids properly. Or gummies, which were laden with unnecessary and unhealthy sugar. So these capsules are an ideal way to take Lion's Mane. There are 120 capsules in a slim line bottle which is enough for nearly 4 months at the dose of 1 tablet per day. I found them easy to swallow as the capsules are not overly large. They also represent good value for money.Edit: After a few days of taking these capsules I came to understand that the casing is foul tasting! I had thought it was one of the other supplements I am taking. Not sure of the benefit of having any taste in the casing.

Certified organic, superior quality
I ordered these particular Lions Mane supplements as they are certified by the Soil Association so I know the product is manufactured in the UK to genuine strict certified organic standards. It is also vegan, dairy free, gluten free and gmo free. While the main component is the Lions Mane itself (a 12:1 extract, the equivilent of 1500mg per capsule) the supplement also contains black pepper powder to improve the efficacy of the Lions Mane and Acerola cherry for vitamin C, chosen for thier synergistic effect with the Lions Mane these components have thier own bountiful health benefits also, win win.The product bottle shape is flat, designed to fit easily through a letterbox this also means it fits nicely tucked onto a shelf. The packaging can be recycled after use or I might reuse it for another supplement.I cannot really speak of the effects of the supplement at this time as I have only just began taking it but already I have noticed an enhancement in my cognitive function and it seems like I have been able to focus on the task at hand easier without getting distracted, time will tell but I have heard many postivie things about Lions Mane so am excited to start this journey with it.

Easy to Take
These supplements are very easy for me to swallow as they are a good size that’s not too big or bulky. The capsules don’t leave any horrible aftertaste and they haven’t got a yucky smell to them either. I feel they are definitely helping me with improving my cognitive functioning and I’m experiencing less brain fog which is a bonus. I find the capsules easy to dispense from the tub into my pill box and the tub makes them easy for me to store. I’ve not experienced any problems or side effects since taking them so I feel they are high quality. The value for money is very good and I do recommend them.
