I did not order this product to use as a table. I ordered it for use on my lap while sitting in a chair with my laptop. I place the table under my thighs with the table support bar between my legs. If you look at the pictures on the product page you will notice that in many of those pictures that is the usage method shown.This brings the laptop closer to my eyes for better, more restful reading. I do a LOT of research every day and so having the screen at a better viewing angle and distance is very helpful to me.I did attempt to attach a picture showing how I am using this portable lap desk, but it was rather awkward. Maybe you’ll get the idea, anyhow!The tabletop surface is fully tilt-able and it has stops at the bottom placed so that the computer will not slide too close to you. This makes it possible to angle it as mildly or as sharply as you need without having the computer sliding toward you and perhaps off the table entirely!The table support pole is extendable, so it can be used setting with the base on the floor or table (instead of on the chair like my own pic). It extends 21.6 inches from the floor, so it is NOT very tall at all. Measure before you purchase it expecting it to serve as an end table or side table. No matter how you decide to use it, having the bar come between your legs is the most stable way to use this, although other ways do work as long as your recognize that the support bar extends from the middle of the bottom support to the middle of the table surface, not off to one side. You can’t pull it close to you from the side because the bar is in the middle. Setting on a desk will bring the computer up approximately 10.5 inches from the desk surface.It was very easy to assemble and the instructions are clear. It is well crafted with smooth and pleasant surfaces. The support bar is sturdy and the base attaches tightly to the support bar. It clicks securely and will not fall apart, although you can disassemble it simply if you choose to do so.My eyes and my neck and my arms, wrists, and elbows are already FAR more comfortable with this little table than without it.All in all, a good purchase!

This works OK. I am not able to use it because the arm is too high for sitting position (chair or bed). It would be nice if I could get the tray lower. Also, if I could adjust the base to push away or move closer to me that would make a huge difference (similar to how the top works). I thought I would like having the pole between my legs, but it was difficult to use in bed with covers. Not a complaint about the product itself since I knew that was what I was getting and just didn't think about that.

I am enjoying this...I'll call it a laptop stand, because that is what I use it for. When I came home from the hospital, I couldn't use my laptop in my usual location...downstairs. I couldn't use the stairs for nearly 5 weeks during my recovery. This laptop stand was the answer to my problem. It made a nice...versatile platform to hold my laptop. It's easy to use, and easy to position. It feels sturdy enough. I'm very happy with it and recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a solidly locking and sturdy laptop desk. The angle of the table is very adjustable by solid clicks - the height by friction of tight tubes. The unit I received did not have three extensions, only two.The tray has fold down tabs to hold electronics, and also light spring clamps to hold down whatever is sitting on the tabs.

When I originally ordered this, it looked like you could put this stand on the floor and use it from a chair. I thought it would be perfect for working from home. I see they have since adjusted their photos to make it more clear that isn’t the case. The stand is to be used by sitting/putting your legs on the base. I did not find this to be comfortable, or particularly stable for my laptop. I was concerned it would fall off of the stand. I did have some success using it with my tablet, with the stand on the floor while doing a yoga video. Other than that I can’t use it.

I use this to hold my iPad or iPhone when I watch movies. Sometimes I use it as a table to put my noodle bowl on it. It is light and portable. I found it very convenient. Sometimes I lie on the bed and have it next to me to hold my iPad so I don’t have to hold it in my hand. The height and angle are easy to adjust. For height, you just need to pull on the leg. For angle adjustment, you need to push on the button under the top and tilt the top to the angle good for you then let the button go. The top will stay in the place. It is easy to assemble. I like it very much.
