No they do not. My son loved them. He was looking for an above the knee pair of shorts and he said they are very comfortable. He has three pairs now.

Heavy sweatshirt. But it is 100% cotton so it breaths well

Q: Is there metal on these shorts? need some without zipper or eyelets.

No metal. Just elastic waist w a drawstring.

Q: How is the cotton farmed? Not organic I’m assuming?

It is 100 percent cotton. Organic if you close your eyes and click your heals together. Lol Very comfortable!
