I wanted to continue my exercise program while on a nearly 4 week vacation earlier this spring. 2 weeks of that were to be on a cruise, and although I knew that the fitness center HAD mats, I much prefer having a personal mat with no one else's sweat on it. ;) I searched the web and found this WeMe mat. Not only was it light weight (so it didn't add too much to my baggage limit for the flights) it also came with a handy carrying bag that made it easy to take to random open spaces on the ship to do my workouts, along with my resistance bands and printed workout sheets tucked in with it. It had enough density (6mm mat) to be comfortable for kneeling workouts, had good non-slip quality to it, and has thus far held up to use with tennis shoes on. I also appreciate the fact that it folds up in such a way that any dirt or debris that might be on the floor under it does NOT get pressed up against the top of the mat where I will be touching/laying when in use. (The black surface on the bottom folds up against the black surface, protecting the colorful top from any possible contamination.) And, bonus, it came in my favorite color: orange! I was extremely happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Unfortunately it doesn't fold as easily as I had hoped - rather bulky. I have health issues. On the positive side - it fits easily into a larger lightweight bag I own. The grip is there. It is a thinner mat and color 💙 blue. Wouldn't buy again but it is satisfactory for my vacation classes while in Florida.

I wanted as thick a mat as possible in a folding design to fit in a "personal Item" bag for plane travel. I purchased the 8mm thick version of this WeMe 72"x24" folding Exercise Mat, which I use for both Pilates and Yoga when traveling. This 8mm thickness was only available in dark blue, which was fine for me. The product is exactly what I had hoped for - thick enough to be comfortable - and compact enough to just fit in a modest size personal item backpack. Fast delivery in excellent condition. I highly recommend! A great value!

I practice Iyengar style yoga and use the pull and counter pull techniques in all poses. Grip is of the utmost importance for this. Rubber mats are the best for grip and that's my main mat. However I cannot stand odors and it took me more than a year before my rubber mat slowly lost it's odor and I was able to use it indoors. It was also heavy and completely unsuited for travel. Enter the WeMe mat (TPV?) - the weight and the folding configuration are perfect to throw it into my rollerboard or even a Laptop backpack. However it has only 80% of the grip of a rubber mat. So I made a hack. I got a roll of this - "Non-Abrasive Grip Tape Roll by CatTongue Grips – Heavy Duty Non Slip Tape for Indoor & Outdoor Use, Customizable & Waterproof Anti Slip Tape for Thousands of Uses (Clear)" https://a.co/d/5508ScjI first where my hands and feet make contact in Adhomukha Svanasana (down dog), wiped that area clean with alcohol, and stuck strips of the grip tape. And the sky is blue again! I now have the best of all three worlds - light weight and packable, odor free, and great grip.Now you will notice that I placed the grips just above and below the seams so as not to interfere with the folding action. That was good, but if I had to do it again, I'll leave a half-inch gap on either side of the seam, and that would be perfect. I also used two strips side-by-side. I think one would be enough to give a great grip. Better still, use a three or four inch wide grip. The grip tape doesn't add much weight. The one I used is supposed to be a transparent tape - but at best it is translucent and it isn't pretty. Black tape may look a little better.I wish the tape were a little thinner. The black grip tape used for staircases is thinner, but I decided not to use it because it is too abrasive. Hope others try different mods and report back.Keep balancing,- AdiYogi

I bought this to take with me while traveling for my job every week and use it in my hotel room. It fits in my suitcase perfectly.

The media could not be loaded.  I like the padding, I like that it does not slip, but the downside is that it scuffs and rips very easily. I was using tennis shoes and doing basic bodyweight exercises, and it managed to scuff :(How long will this last? IDK. Scuffing into little pieces is unfortunate and messy. Bummed.

This is a very good yoga mat for traveling. I've tested it at home for several features important to me:- comfort: it's pretty thick and cushioning, I can do HIIT and yoga on it very comfortably.- not slippery: here's where the other mats failed and this one shines. NOT slippery when I'm sweating!- weight: surprisingly light for its size and thickness- packable: appreciate the included bag, making it easier to pack nice folding creases which flatten out when you place it on the floor- "stickiness": use it on top of a rug and it will move a little, but it's not a problem for me. On bare floor it stays in place.Cons:- it will fill up some of my suitcase space, there are slimmer mats out there. But for me, it's worth it because of comfort using it. I wouldn't even pack those other thinner mats as they were basically useless for me.The pros of this mat outweigh the only con I could think of!

This doesn’t fold up nice and flat like the photo shows. It looks like the mat is just folded and not scored like it should be. Honestly, pretty poor quality. I’m not happy and returning mine for a different mat. I’m tired of deceptive advertising from products made overseas.

I use this at work for Pilates and yoga/quick movement workouts on a break. I love that the top side stays clean because it never contacts the bottom. It’s very comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for.

Have been using this mat every day for the past week on North Beach, Antigua. It is a great mat. It does swell a bit by the water, but I am now careful not to get the salt water on it. Hopeful it will last for the next 4 weeks of our vacation. 🔆🇦🇬⚓️🙏
