Kenny's Juicy Twists, Green Apple, 16 Ounce

Since Quiktrip stopped selling these, this was my only choice. Will buy them again.

Kenny's blue raspberry twists are among their better flavors. Like the typical "licorice-style" fruit-flavored twist, Kenny's are fairly chewy and a bit waxy in texture. The blue raspberry variety have a rather pleasant fruity flavor, although I'm not sure that it tastes like blue raspberries. (Since my experience with real raspberries has been with red raspberries, I confess that I'm not sure just what blue raspberries taste like.) The sticks are about 7 inches long, and a pound contains about 42 sticks. One thing I don't like is that these contain high fructose corn syrup. And they do contain wheat, so they're definitely not gluten free.

I have ordered these a few times but the most recent package came to me OPEN and the candy was, of course, stale. Very disappointed.

Both packages came open during (or before) shipping and were thrown out.

The licorice was absolutely hard and stale and there was debris/dirt inside of the package on the candy! wtf.
