New BalanceWomen's FuelCell Supercomp Elite V3 Running Shoe

Right out of the box, they fit like a glove and are like walking on a cloud. The fuel cell technology is amazing and the shoe feels fitted to my foot. This shoe is incredibly lightweight and rolls with your step, but provides a great amount of cushioning.Pros: Supportive, flexible, very lightweight. I think the new design looks pretty high-tech and is very different than anything NB has put out before. I am a walker, not a runner, and these feel like I'm walking on air. Very cushiony. My stride rolls with the shoe.Cons: Initially I wasn't sure I was a fan of the bootie style shoe, meaning the tongue does not come out for easily putting your foot in, especially when wearing socks. The more I wear them, the more that bootie seems to adjust to the size of my foot, making it easier to put on so not an issue for me. The lace holes have a couple of internal ridges that could potentially hurt by digging into outer ankles but I have found that with the right sock it is not a problem for me, just mentioning it because it could be a problem for some, depending on your foot and your use of the shoe. NB did not use eyelets and instead put stitching for the laces, which is what could cause the discomfort for the wearer.I found these to run true-to-size, and if anything would recommend a half size up as is normal with NB shoes, although I did not. I'm giving them a thumbs-up!

I agree with other reviewers of this shoe-they do feel like you are walking/bouncing on a cloud. I never got a chance to run in them because I could tell right away that the part of the shoe that connects to the tongue was going to dig into my foot and cause a blister. There’s something off with the stitching.

These New Balance are worth every penny. I have been having foot pain due to aging, but these shoes are amazing. I would size up. I’m a 7.5 and they fit snugly. I should have gone up to an 8. However, I’m still very happy with these shoes and I cannot wait to get back to walking daily.

I agree with the other review about the top of the shoe. The sole is fantastic. However the elastic material which is the tongue of the shoe causes the sides to dig into your ankles. I literally had to stop mid walk and change them out because i was getting blisters on my ankles.

The soul of this shoe is the best I've ever walked on, unfortunately there's a part of the shoe that digs into the bottom of my ankle to the point that I decided to return them.

From the base of my foot down, this shoe is amazing. It's fast and like running on a cloud. It's also the only carbon plate shoe I know of with a ~4-6 mm drop. I swear this shoe is taking minutes off my marathon time. But from the base of my foot up, this is the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. The lumps of stitching (there's really no other word for it) that hold the lacing loops in place dig into the bones on the top of my foot. And the tongue is so thin that the laces nearest my ankle feel like they are cutting through my foot. (I ended up having to place bunion pads on the top of my feet mid-race to even continue.) PLEASE: redesign this shoe from the middle to the top.
