After looking at some eye-wateringly expensive custom dog boxes for our XL-breed puppy, we decided to give this a go. She’d outgrown 2 airline-style crates by 6months and was not going to be comfortable crammed into the Ferplast Atlas 40 on a long road trip. It has proven to be a great choice for us.Pros: the frame is sturdy and coated metal, not plastic. It’s also easy to assemble and lightweight, so very handy to move into and out of our car boot when I need the space for groceries. Or when staying away, we’ve brought it into the hotel room or holiday cottage as her crate. She’s comfortable enough to snore away for hours in it, and it has not warped or bent. The handles are useful, because though it’s lightweight, at this size it’s awkward, especially carrying it through doors. I was worried about the mesh as our dog has long, very strong claws (see photo) and can really scratch at the front of a crate in excitement when she’s about to be let out. But so far, it’s held up extremely well!! That’s after 2 roadtrips and near daily use. She’s now 7 months, 25+Kg , quite long for a mastiff, and still growing. Lots of space for her, this should see her into adult size.Cons: none really, although be aware that if you have a hatchback shaped car, this may be too tall to fit. For reference, it fits in my BMW iX3 with plenty of room on top and enough on the sides for a narrow bag or 2. But it will not fit in my husband’s BMW 3 series GT.Cushion: we found the 3peaks Medium size cushion (bought elsewhere) is the perfect fit for for this XL crate. (See photo). Definitely the M, the L was too large. Hope this helps.

Well designed, easy to assemble travel crate for a big dog. Side and front access, zippers clip together to stop them opening by accident. I really like the easy assembly and the way it folds down flat with a carry handle. Looks well made too.

Good size crate, lightweight but sturdy. Easy to put together. Reasonable price.

The create is very well made and folds flat so excellent for travelling. My only concern is that there is mesh which I think my over-excitable puppy would to with his claws. Think it's only suited to older dogs who are passed the chewing stage and more settled

Very happy with this, it fits into the car easily folds away and our Beagle loves it.

Bought this after a friend recommended it, for our Labrador pup. Light, fits in car boot, very easy to set up. She has been happy to get in and sleep in it.Quality product

I have a 4.5 month old puppy, small dog, and this is her day crate. It was easy to set up and is placed in our dining room, where she naps during the day. She has taken to it well, it has a nice soft mattress and gives her plenty of space to sleep and play (including a water bowl). I got the largest size even though she is small, as didn't want to confine her in a tiny crate. It has also helped with house training.

Perfect for my cat who’s recovering from an operation. He needed a soft crate to prevent injury. It was clips on the zips so he can’t undo them and folds away flat pack for storage. Definitely worth it, very pleased with it. He’s tried scratching the sides but they haven’t been damaged, seems very durable.

Sturdy built and easy pop up and to fold away. Light weight, maybe 7 lbs for extra large size. Convenient handle to carry. My dog is Retriever X, Xtra large would be too small for Rottweiler or Mastiff breed. My dog just fits standing up. Sleeping mat is soft and comfortable, made of durable material. I give this portable dog crate two thumbs up. Just check sizing carefully.

This kennel is great!! I love how it folds down and it's very easy to set up! It's very light to carry too. I drive a 2019 Ford Edge and it fits nicely in the very back of my car. I can even put this in the very back and my other two dogs. I am using this for a 10 month old, 30# foster pit puppy and she's got a lot of extra room. My small husky mix (35#) fits well and my 60# dutch shepherd would be fine laying in it also. I love that it opens on the top and the side. Seems durable and it's exactly what I was hoping for.

Sehr stabile Box, wir nutzen sie im Auto für unseren Hund, gut sind die beiden schrägen oben, dadurch ist die Grundfläche größer und die Heckklappe geht trotzdem zu. Wenn die schrägen nicht wären, hätten wir die Box eine Nummer kleiner nehmen müssen und der Platz für den Hund wäre beengt. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, daß die Öffnung durch die Schräge kleiner ist. Unseren Hund stört es aber nicht.
