Nut Gone. Small Faces CD
Listening for the first time, sounds great. The packaging will rival any of your favorite vinyl records. However, the CD's are in cardboard sleeves and need to be put into proper holders, but you get that with vinyl records also.

Excellent Album
This is often claimed as The Faces best record and I would have to agree. This is a “concept” album and is excellent. I never purchased this record years ago when amassing my record collection so I recently made the purchase. Highly recommended.

The Ultimate Edition of Ogden's Nut Gone Flake
I'll start here by saying that back about 32 years ago, I helped supervise and annotated a CD reissue of Ogden's Nut Gone Flake, on behalf of Sony Music -- it was probably the first CD edition of the album that used an actual early-generation tape source (Sony still being in possession of the master tape used for Columbia Records' late 1960s issue of the LP in the States). All well and good, even with one piece of incorrect information in my annotation (thanks to an error in a British source, I had Stanley Holloway, rather than Stanley Unwin, as the speaker).Cut to 2023, and here we have an even better issue of the album, with more vivid sound than we were able to achieve three decades back and beautiful packaging, and supported by an album's worth of bonus tracks, including early working versions of a lot of the finished material. I certainly didn't mind buying this album all over again, and have spent the better part of a week listening to all of it on and off.

A long wanted cd.
I realise this was way back in 1968, but I’ve been threatening to buy it since then. The main reason, I have been a fan of Stanley Unwin for years, ex wife uses to question why I liked him, and my current partner is the same!., but I think he is superb!. A double cd well worth it.
