Cyprinus™ Whole Hog Fishing padded arm Chair seat + Rod Pod rod rest ideal for Coarse and Carp Fishing

The whole hog package!Fantastic value for the money and quality on par with all the top brands without the sting of spending hundreds on the same kit!Coming from a Fox fan boy who had been coarse fishing for over 10 years.The time has come for me to have to sit down and buy a proper setup when out on the fisheries. My review is below:Pros:Amazingly comfy chair with armrests. Will recline into a number of positions and holds my 18 st well.The base of the chair has a quality metal frame with sturdy well made legs. These have a multiple height angle adjustment. Great for fishing off a peg or steep bank.Due to the thickness of the metal on the base, the rod arm is fully supported when set up right, even with x2 heavy 12ft carp rods fully loaded set up.The front/rear rod rests are made of quality rubber and the butt ends grip the rods well, great for catching larger coarse fish.The front rod stand has pointed feet that with go into the ground and extend to lower or raise your rod tips to the perfect level.Comes with a great tough wearing carry case which fits everything, allowing easy storage and has compartments.The Tough carry case has dual handles and a shoulder sling for lugged the full kit around.The rod rests are made of solid metal and have multiple adjustments with quality screws and bolts.A years heavy use on numerous fisheries and being slung in and out of my car boot. The chair has held up extremely well and is still as great as when I bought it. Cant recommend Cyprinus enough as a true alternative.Cons:Only 1 - The shoulder sling has a plastic connector which broke after six months. I use the dual handles now on the side. I was carrying my bait in the carry case as well - So not the products fault.Would have loved a 3 rod holder set up! Maybe something for the future.

This was a gift for my 23 year old son. He was over the moon with it. Had to look online for how to put it together,but it's obvious once you know. It is heavy to carry. The chair has already been used several times and the fact the legs can be adjusted individually and the feet move to adjust to the angle of the ground make it ideal for river banks or a tow path.

I agree with other reviewers that a diagram or instruction should have been included in the pack. I managed to print off an A4 picture from the amazon page, that way I did managed to fit it all together. I have a back and knee problems, this chair was very comfortable to sit in and easy to get up from. It is a bit heavy to carry around, so next purchases is a fishing trolley.All in all a very good buy, well pleased.

This chair arrived earlier than expected. Once opened there weren't instructions but I had expected that from other reviews. But what I didn't expect to be doing was tightening ever nut and bolt. Also I had to reattach on of the front rod holders. Note to other buyers this chair is big and heavy so if you have to carry for a long distance get a trolley. A brolly holder attachment would be nice to have with this chair. All in all once I sorted out the problems it is a good chair.

Bummed out about this product. Great price, feature rich, would be amazing if not being too weak. I used it for the first time today and it immediately popped stitches from one side at the front. I have noticed the legs are a bit wonky too. To but into context, I am about 14 stone.Albeit a touch tricky to work out what goes where and in what order, it took me a bit of time to bolt it all together. it's heavy due to all the extra bars and gubbins I don't recommend as roving chair that's for sure!I would have highly recommended this chair had it not broken, should be great value but the quality lets it down!

this is an amazing bit of kit for all you anglers out there,got it set up perfectly within an hour after going onto wikipedia for the instructions,cant wait to get to use it,well worth the money.
