The device was built sturdy and adjustable. I have used inflatable coils in the past. I was hoping this would be easy, comfortable and offer relief. For my neck it didn't accomplish any of that. Just not for me.

Both my husband and I tried this. My husband found it difficult to put on and didn't fit his chest and shoulders well, after spending about 5 minutes adjusting it. I was able to adjust it to fit me perfectly and used it, and love it! There is a learning curve the first few times you put it on, getting it set up just right, but then you can leave it at the settings that work for you so it gets easier with practice. The tension adjustment is very subtle so you can go slowly until you find what's comfortable. It's fun to use, but don't overdo it your first sessions -- it is better to start easy and work up to bigger stretches over time.RECOMMENDED!

I have tried the hand-pumpable, balloon-type neck traction devices; this device is on another level. It is substantial in build and quality, and includes an electric pump (rechargeable). It is very easy to put on; simply loosen it using the round size adjustment button, then open the neck area (held in place by a short post). It is easy to adjust for fit, then close and tighten again. This device includes about a 15-inch USB charging cord and 2 sets of instructions (for the device and the pump). Given my perception of the quality gives me hope for some relief and improvement of neck issues. That same perception of quality also makes me realize that I will bring this serious neck traction device with me to my doctor and or a neck specialist to help me make sure I use it properly as I am not at all medically versed (especially regarding the neck and cervical traction). While a little pricey at $129.99 ($119.99 using the $10 off coupon) at the time I wrote this review, for me this is a 5-star item based on quality and useability.
