Great pair of shoes for the easy day and recovery runs. Can easily to a comfortable 10k in these with little to know feet soreness. A bit less lateral support with all the cushioning though. Taking sharp turns creates some instability feeling. Got the wide size and there’s ample room in toe box. Fits true to size.

My husband has run in the gel nimbus for many years. He is running in the 25’s now and looking forward to a pair of 26’s. He has a knee replacement, yet has no problems. Did I tell you he is now 84 and has been running since cross country at Canisius. A lot slower now, but steady at 3 miles five days a week with no problems. The shoes are the best for him..very stable, with the right amount of cushioning. He does rotate two pair, but they wear well. Gets about 500 miles per pair. Great shoe!

Would recommend for more cushion on your joints, sturdiness & comfort. I’ve ran at least 30 miles and they still look newish & feel great. Price was good.

The Asics Gel-Nimbus 25 is certainly one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Having recently been plagued with back and hip issues (arthritis), along with a chronically inflamed SI joint, I've had to give up on the high-impact stuff and, oddly enough, even cycling. As as result I've turned to walking daily. Thanks to Amazon's "Try Before You Buy" I was able to get into quite a few pairs of shoes, from Brooks, New Balance, and Adidas. These put all the others to shame in the comfort department. Almost like walking on a cloud, which is ideal for my old man joints. The only slight issue I would say is that lateral stability doesn't seem to be outstanding -- great for straight line walking, but the shoe's thin and breathable material doesn't lend itself well to any lopsided surfaces (which I notice causes my feet to slide side-to-side just a bit inside when the pavement gets wonky. Really not that much of an issue (seeing as it's likely due in part to me being used to mid hikers with better ankle support). Overall a really great shoe.

Just short of life changing! Incredible quality and comfort. VASTLY improves my running and jogging. So comfortable, I also got another pair just for everyday use. Runner or not, these are wildly comfortable with clear and noticeable cushion and bounce. Incredible!

When I first got these, I thought about returning them within the first two days. I wondered why they were reviewed and priced so highly when they just felt stiff. Gave it till a week in, and now they have been my favorite pair of shoes I have ever used. Very comfortable, I have not wanted to use any other pair of shoes since I got them. Feels like I'm walking on clouds. I'd recommend looking into another pair if you need any sort of support from your shoes though, I do not notice any sort of actual stability features. Shouldn't be a problem for most though I'd say, just stay away if you're prone to pronation.
