First impressions
I just got these in the mail for an upcoming trip. I have been wearing them for about an hour at work. They are what I hoped they would be.For some background, I got Under Armour shoes when they used to be cheap ($30-50). People complained they would wear out so fast. They were cheap, and comfortable because it was just a mesh attached to an EVA foam sole. Lots of companies are doing this, but they add some harder rubber to certain areas to slow down the wear-out process.Looking at normal water shoes, I knew that my feet would be killing me with those thin soles (my feet get tired from walking barefoot in my house because I should lose a few pounds). I had seen a lady about 10 years ago talking about her water shoes that looked like normal shoes (the context was a school field day with water slides I think). So my thought was... if I could find some water shoes with thick EVA soles, they would basically be Under Armour shoes with holes in them and no foam in the tongue.Sure enough, these appear to be it! So if that's what you're looking for, these are a great option. The heel is not as thick or something, Or it doesn't cup the heel enough. Either way, when standing still I feel pressure in my heel more than my Under Armour shoes. But it's not bad, it's nothing like flip-flops or thin water shoes. Some things I don't like. There is some plastic structure in the knitted upper, which I really like and am glad is there, but it comes all smashed down and I cannot get the plastic in the toe to 'hold up'. if it was slightly thicker, or maybe had some foam in there to hold it in the right shape between the factory and home, it might help. My right foot looks better than my left foot, so there's potential.Another thing that I'm not sure about: the insole has a fishnet on it. I think that is to give grip when your foot is wet. but I feel like it's going to rub my foot sore. Only time will tell. The insole is removable, and there is a sock-like material under the insole, so maybe the insole is to be removed when you don't have on socks? I was wearing them for about an hour with socks, but only a few minutes without socks. Time will tell. I expect to update this review after my trip.A minor thing, the elastic seems a little long for the size of the shoe. The ends were as far as you could pull right out of the box without creating a floppy situation, and they were loose in relation to the knitted upper. I think I'll just cut the elastic, and tie a knot, and put a flame to the ends to prevent fraying.

Excellent ventilation
Love these water shoes with plenty of ventilation and also this one has cutouts on the bottom for the water to drain which I love as other water shoes I've had previously felt like I was sitting in water if the shoes did not have these drainage holes. And the holes are not so big that rocks get stuck underneath. And if I'm not wearing it anywhere near wet surface, it does keep my feet nice and cool.Very flexible material and has good support too!

Runs large - but seems good
So caveat - I returned these, because they were too big. They seem to run a bit large. However, they seem to be very good quality. The sole is proper material, comparable to a real sneaker; the knit material was also good. I would've been content to wear these.I went for a long walk in them, and it held up well for that. Comfortable. Sole provided good support (for a water shoe).I can't say how good they are in the water, or how they would hold up in the long term.

Lightweight and comfortable
Great water shoe, comfortable to walk around in on the beach, good for tubing , and in the water. Light enough to swim with them on.

Very nice
I’ve tried a lot of water shoes, and this one is my favorite. If you’re looking for a water shoe that also feels like a gym shoe that you can walk around with

Super awesome
We live on a lake and these get a lot of use. My husband last pair has lasted three years of heavy use. Boating, walking in the sand and rocks. Ocean, lakes and rivers these things stay on and still look new. Even body rafting in the White Mountains. The only reason we ordered another pair is my son stole his old ones!!

Amazing
Comfortable. Dry incredibly fast. Doesn't look like a "water shoe."
