Q: Is this watch water proof

My son wears this watch and, whilst we haven’t totally immersed it in water, it has survived splashes etc. He’s had it on scout camps where they went kayaking and it survived!

Q: Will it fit my 9 year old daughter, or is it too big?

If it's any help, I'm an adult female with a very small wrist, which measures 14.5cm around, and the watch fits me fine with one hole on the strap remaining that would make it even tighter if required. The face is approx 3cm across, so it's not a very small face, but it's also not too big. It's a smart looking watch with an easy to read face.
