Incredible value! Wonderful case!
I am absolutely thrilled with this case especially at this price point! The finish, fit and hard sides all combine to give me peace of mind to keeping my old girl safe during transport. My only concern would be a bit of play around the subway handle and if I had to use this for a daily commute I would be concerned about longevity in that regard. However, for your average suburban student that avoids public transportation this is a wonderful case that lends the impression that you splurged a grand on that top priced Italian case. I especially like the added security of the latch and also the convenience of the magnetized storm flap. All in all, this case conveys quiet elegance in its warm coffee and olive tones and I am proud to have taken the plunge and purchased this. An incredible value! Be mindful that the description states there is a humidifier bottle included. There is not, and I have made the seller aware and they have confirmed that this case does not include that feature.

Outstanding case
This is a beautiful, well made and sturdy case. I currently have three violins and two violas, so I have had several cases in my life. The Sky case is light but provides as good a suspension as some of the more expensive ones I have bought. It also looks as exquisite as the you-know-what Italian brand that costs at least $1000. The bow holders are well positioned. While a bit tight, I managed to put all four bows in without problem. The only small regret is that it does not come with a humidifier. So you either have to install one or use damp-it. For humidifying purpose, I replaced the string tube with Precipitube and it looks just beautiful. (http://www.lashofviolins.com/precipitube.html)For $139, this is about as good a case one can buy. The item was shipped expeditiously, and I received it in three days with free shipping in excellent condition.

Just what I was looking for
I love my new Violin case. It was what I was looking for. It can hold up to 4 bows. It also holds all my extra stuff, shoulder rest, strings, rosin, music sheets. I love that there are two straps so you can use as just a shoulder strap or carry on my back. I also love the color. It is so much deeper then what the picture shows. The big compartment is 4 1/2 inches wide and 81/2 inches long. Towards the opening of the case is narrow to 3 1/2 inches wide. I can fit my shoulder rest in it along with my silencer , tuner and my frog finger helper to hold the bow properly.

Beautiful Inside and Out
Amazing! Perfect protection, elegant interior and exterior, a simply beautiful case. My first day carrying it and I get plenty of complements, fellow musicians have asked me if I paid $500 for it. A little heavy as opposed to my old $30 case, but tolerable, great for the price. I plan to use this case for years to come

Edit: A nice case, but quality is inconsistent. Hope you get a good one.
I wanted an upgraded case for my violin and this one is certainly that. It looks a lot like the expensive Italian cases (whose name I won't mention) but at a much more attractive price. The case is a bit heavy at about 6 1/2 pounds, but that's pretty standard for a plywood violin case. The four bow holders and built in humidity and temperature gauges are a nice touch, and the purple velour and brocade lining adds a luxury touch, making the case appear much more expensive than it was.Downsides? Yes, a couple. My violin (a 1715 Stradivarius copy) is a loose fit in the case and moves around a bit. I may have to add some extra padding around the upper bout when carrying the violin. In fairness, the cheap case that came with the violin was much worse in this respect and the violin arrived safely, so maybe I'm overthinking this. Also, like most cases, this one lacks feet on the back, meaning that the case rests on the strap attachment when opened, which can damage a fine surface. Also, I'd liked a better end handle. Overall, still a nice case for the price.EDIT: I liked the original (black/magenta) case so well I decided to order another in blue/black for my other violin. Unfortunately, that one wasn't nearly as nice as the first one. This one arrived with both the hygrometer and thermometer frozen and inoperative (unless it's 110 degrees F. and 65% humidity in my living room). Also, the foam block in the lid that holds the violin steady was positioned to block access to one of the bow holders. I ended up sending this one back. A shame that a nice case is marred by these quality issues.

Exactly as shown and described
The case holds everything my daughter needs for orchestra. The zippered pocket hold 4-5 music books and her practice log book. The compartments hold everything even her shoulder rest which she always had to carry in a different bag or her backpack. The case can be carried several different ways and can sit 3 different ways. The violin and bows are well protected and the case is attractive. We have no complaints.

Very sturdy case with all the features I wanted
Very sturdy case. Holds my violin securely. Large pockets hold my large shoulder rest (Bonmusica). I plan to buy another for my other violin.

A decent value...
I rated this case 3 because I'm picky. Overall, it's a nice case. The exterior is attractive, clean straight seams, ample music storage, magnetic rain flap (great idea, better than snaps), and the weight in manageable. The inside is attractive, ample storage, good suspension, and well executed for the most part. This is an inexpensive case at a reasonable price, and a decent value. But don't think you're getting an upper-end case at a bargain.Actually, I would have rated the case higher but it sadly arrived with one of the brass feet (bottom) loose...which means it will shortly fall out leaving a hole in the fabric. Secondly, the attractive interior is spoiled by the cheap apparance of the blanket which is poorly sewn, wrinkled at the edges, and an unfortunate black eye on the whole thing. I have some concerns that the neck of the violin seems to ride quite high on the support (with the usual disagreeable velcro attachment) compared to my other cases, so I'm keeping an eye on this. A little "quality control" inspection could have eliminated both of these problems. On a more expensive case, I would have returned it immediately.Again, a decent value for the money. I bought it for my backup violin and I am satisfied, if not delighted. If this were for my primary violin I would want a better case.
