Charcoal Suede Divan Bed Base - 4FT6 Double - 4 Drawers

After communications problems between the company and the delivery service, the item turned up a week late.I had naively thought that then drawers would be packed separately, but they were held in place in the divan body by a band of material that I had to hack through to remove the drawers so that I could (just about) move the body upstairs to the bedroom.The back section of two of the drawers was separate, but thanks to a kind neighbour, and some wood glue, this was eventually sorted out. The drawers were not particularly easy to place back in, and the final drawer ( which had a split on the side) was a total nightmare which took a friend about fifteen minutes to manoeuvre into place. All in all, not a very good experience. A single paper assembly sheet would have made life easier.My advice is go somewhere else, pay more and get a better product.

I bought this due to the positive reviews, but I've obviously been extremely unlucky. The wheels wouldnt fit into the base holes, there weren't any bolt holes for the head board, two of the drawers won't slide in on the runners, they fall off where the wood is bowed inside, and one of the drawers has just fallen to bits. Will be spending my Sunday trying to fix

I too was an unlucky purchaser having drawers that do not want to come out. don’t put anything in there you think you might need frequently. Other than that bed functions as a bed should.

Genuinely awful, but unfortunately I bought it before all the bad reviews started flooding in. To be fair, the base on mine seemed to last longer than a lot of people's - a whole year before it caved in completely! The drawers are terrible and stick constantly, the divan is cheaply, badly made and began to sink in the centre early on and is now totally irreparable. Thought I was getting a bargain but as well has having to buy yet another new bed, I'll also have to pay to have this rubbish taken to the tip where it belongs. Avoid.

Stay well clear very poorly built, 1 of the drawers was off the runners (see photos) when delivered and still when used falls off the runners every time we use the drawer ,1 of the wheels ( which was already fitted ) fell out of the wooden frame when unpacked with the metal sleeve and had to be refitted, 0nly 1 head board bolt supplied and only 1 clip to clip the 2 pieces of the bed together supplied.so overall very disappointed with this purchase.

would be ok if you could open & close the draws but they are jammed solid as too tighter fit3 weeks later have really bad back pain.bed base top is sinking and staples protruding. rubbishAVOIDSELLER REFUSES TO ANSWER EMAILS

I would have given it a 5 star but it had a caster that did not fit, and two pieces that we still do not know how they fit to join the two bases together.( my husband made a bracket to join them.

Good service and value. Arrived after 10pm! Delivery men were very helpful. The 2 halves of the base are grey but different material and shades of grey. Fortunately they're covered by the duvet most of the time.
