The User's Guide to Sleight Of Mouth

I believe one of the greatest contributions the author of this book makes is bringing our attention to a way to visualize and assimilate the techniques "easier" than other books. I've read a few and even have a couple of CD's - all on Sleight of Mouth - and this one really brought things together for me. Nothing fancy - he just helps you to associate a picture or symbol with a technique - that you place inside a picture frame - so that instead of just being overwhelmed by all the names, you just look at this structure in your mind and the symbol - and you have a starting place to apply/learn the NLP technique. I hope this makes sense! If this area of NLP interests you, then this is a great place to start. Plus, the "concept" can be applied to other areas too - right?

I got certified in NLP back in 1988. Although I never desired to be a therapist, I believe it is important to keep my skills in place, and I read and practice them systematically every year. The "slight-of-mouth" skills eluded me; I could not seem to get the same elegance that senior NLP practitioners were getting. Using this book and massive practice I seem to have awakened a real talent for SOM. I cannot explain how easy it seems now compared to how difficult it seemed to me all these years! It took me less than week following the process in this book, and I can hardly wait to what I will accomplish this next week!

For years I've heard about "Sleight of Mouth". All I heard till now was ambiguous and impossible to understand, much less use, in a day to day business world. Until now.THEN I READ THIS BOOK - EXCELLENTI bought the User's Guide to Sleight of Mouth because I was looking for a sales tool to help me make my business better. Period. I've been to a lot of different sales trainings over the years and didn't want the same old stuff with new packaging. I found what I was looking for. This book was great. Knocked it outa the park as far as I'm concerned. Worth ten times the price to me in increased sales in just a couple of days. God knows what the value will be over time.One cool thing is about half way through the book there was a link to an on-line video that the author made that explains a certain part of the book in a really excellent way. I could watch it right on my Kindle Fire. I really liked that. I would have liked more of that.I am a business man with my own small business. I don't have time for things that are too complex or too theoretical. I need results. This book delivered exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

SOM is perhaps one of the NLP tools needs readers' good creativity to apply successfully. This book offers strategies of application and imprints the model deeply in your muscles. Never forget reading the appendices: the place of treasures.

I really struggled with Slight of Mouth when I when through NLP course. This book and training with Doug O'Brian really made a difference. This book goes through really explain each pattern in a very easy to understanding and examples to help you remember it all. It is organized very well. In fact, I have give a few copies as gifts to my friends and family. It helps to better communicate with your teenagers and even adult friends and family member. It is a must read book.

This is a book for someone who likes to read about NLP and Hypnosis, you need to have some background on this subjects.and most of all patience to learn how to use the strategies.

I tried reading Robert Dilts Sleight of hand but it was too complicated and deep. This book on the other hand got me excited to see how I can communicate differently. I am not sure why this book isn’t taught in school. I enjoyed the book. If you are thinking of buying the book. Just do it if not then you might as well be jeopardizing yourself.

One of the best books that I have read on NLP tools . Easily understood and applied. I hope to use it in my coaching practice effectively.

This book is full of skills to help you influence others. Sleight of Mouth is not trickery. It is a hey, explanation of how influence others in a positive way. Especially useful for people who are inflexible. A word of caution - some people cannot be changed.

viele Beispiele viele Ûebungen. Gut und einfach erklaert. Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhaeltnis muss man schon sagen. Fast besser als das BBuch von dilts

Très bon complément au livre original de Dilts. Les exemples sont un peu limités (il y en a 4, déjà donnés par Dilts), j'aurais aimé en avoir d'autres ou des différents, mais l'ensemble est très clair et va droit au but.Par contre je ne peux pas dire si on peut se passer de lire la version de Dilts. Sans doute.
