Absolutely brilliantly engineered - can cope with two thick cables in each section (top and side) plus can adjust how tight they fit into the inputs via the adjustment screw at the top of the connections - extremely flexible and well thought out

Excellent design
Ordered these plugs because the design of my existing plugs means that they do not feel secure in the sockets of my new speakers (reason - the new speaker sockets are not as deep as those on my old speakers and my existing plugs make firm contact with the sockets only halfway along the length of the pin, hence they contacted close to the top of the new speaker sockets). The design of these Fisual plugs means that the contact point is at the tip of the pin (i.e. at the bottom of the speaker socket) and, once locked in place, they feel extremely secure and it would take some effort to remove the plugs without unlocking them first (not trying this because it would definitely damage the speaker sockets, they're so secure!).One bonus is that the screws securing the cable in place are located within the plastic insulation surrounding the plug and this helps keep your screwdriver located in the cable securing screws - I can't tell you how many times I have stabbed my fingers with the screwdriver when attaching the cable to my old plugs! The insulation, incidentally, extends all over the plugs, including on the screwed pins which are used to lock the plugs in place, and this means that it is impossible for the plugs to be shorted out accidentally.Overall, I recommend these plugs highly.

Brilliant product.
These plugs are absolutely brilliant. I have QED XT400 speaker cables, which were fitted with QED's own very highly rated plugs, which are spring loaded, but the springs have gone on some of them now. Even with the springs working, the contact area between plug and socket can only be minimal; the spring loaded catch on one side, and the opposite edge of the plug. Once the spring goes, the connection is as good as gone. These plugs are far superior in my opinion. The cable entry has a 6 mm dia hole to take a thick cable whole, with a sturdy screw to fix it in position, which then narrows to receive the bare, exposed strands, with its own second screw. The advantage is that the first screw can be tightened hard to grip the cable properly, while the second one is just finger tight on the strands, without squashing the circular ring of strands on the QED XT400 which would negate the advantage afforded by the design of the XT400. Also, the collet screw tightens the actual pin going into the socket by expanding it to give a perfect, secure contact. The overall quality is fantastic, really well made, well thought out, sturdy, with a decent plastic protective surround to shield it, and no danger of any stray strands shorting. Expensive, yes, but worth it if you have expensive equipment.

An Excellent and Well Thought Out Design.
Purchased as I needed solid and stackable speaker plugs to provide a high level connection to a REL subwoofer. My amplifier (an old Cyrus 2) has sockets for banana plugs but no binding posts. The expanding connector provides a solid locking connection for the main speakers and a stable platform for the stacked subwoofer connection. The connectors can also accept quite substantial speaker cables, which makes attaching them a breeze. They are also insulated so there is no danger of accidentally shorting outputs where connectors may be closely spaced on the back of an amplifier. They are slightly expensive, but quality costs and these are definitely quality.

I was surprised at just how good a quality set of plugs these are
I need a 'pass through' 4mm banana plug to allow me to connect both the speakers and to make a high level connection to my sub woofer. I ordered these plugs on the assumption that they looked reasonable quality and would do the job... I was surprised at just how good a quality set of plugs these are... .in fact I have replaced my original main speaker with these and put used the the original 4mm plugs for the subwoofer...These plugs can be used to wire cable up to 6mm diameter - they secured with two screws - one for the actual conductor and the second got the covering. These pluga are further made secure with a in that widens the 4mm once inserted into the speaker or amp to make a very firm and connection..Really good 4mm plugs

Qood quality cable connectors
Substantial banana plugs, my new Amp doesn't cater for bi-wiring so came across these online. Seem to work well with a good audio reproduction controlled separately and a secure fit. I did find they are awkward to adjust once locked together because both are screwed into each other but just a niggle. If you have an amp that doesn't have bi-wire facility but your speakers do, these are ideal!

Not as pictured. Clearly no visual checks on orders.
This may have been a better review, but quite frankly, when ordering a full set of plugs for a stereo pair of speaker cables, one would expect the same item ordered.I ordered four pairs of these and paid £8.49 per pair, good delivery, but what I ended up with was three pairs of "Fisual Deluxe Insulated Banana Plugs" at £8.49 each, and one set of "Fisual Easy Fix BFA Camcon Plugs" in a clear zip lock bag with the same Deluxe item bar code, so I was sent the wrong item and charged £8.49 for a poorer item that retails at £5.29 for two pairs! Both types came in the same card envelope, both were labelled as the same thing in clear zip lock bags, yet no system was in place to visually QC such? There were five pairs of the Deluxe plugs in stock when I ordered, now one pair left in stock. Due to the nature of Amazons help center and returns system, I decided to order the last pair instead of filling in a returns form, printing a return label, and awaiting confirmation on whatever action may occur dependent on the chance of any stock being in.Fingers crossed Amazon don't get this order wrong, or that more items are not wrongly coded in this manner!Once I receive the item "Fisual Deluxe Insulated Banana Plugs" that I just ordered again. I will proceed with returning the wrong item for a refund of £8.49
