Love the look but it was a major issue to put on. Just like a few other people mentioned, the holes do not line up. I also read that people had to make new holes or cut off the tabs. Luckily I had a handy brother who was able to drill new holes for me. And if that didn't work I was going to resort in cutting the tabs off. I didn't want to return it because I haven't found another hood guard I've liked as much.I contacted the company about this issue and their response was "glad you made it work". So disappointed that I spent $60 on a piece of plastic that I had to modify to make work. Also disappointing that the company selling the product didn't really care.Just a warning to anyone thinking about buying this: Do not buy if you aren't handy with power tools, or know someone that is.I have a 2016 JKU 75th Anniversary Edition

Update: Just as soon as I wrote the below review, this thing goes flying off my hood.It's getting returned.It looks sharp. I do like it's look.Here's its flaws: as others mentioned, the holes on the tabs do NOT line up with the holes in the hood latch. So you have to drill or cut them off. I chose to cut them off.It's about a half inch short in length as you can see in the pics. This part drives me crazy. I want it to lay flush on both sides. I believe if they stretched it out just a tad, those holes might line up with the ones on the hood.It's decent enough that I'm going to keep for now because I need the protection. For the price, this product needs to be fixed especially since this isn't the first complaint of this nature. Or lower the price and let people deal with it's flaws.

Nice lookin piece. I cut the dog ears off and just attached with the tape (the dog ears don't line up with hood latch holes anyway) it's good quality automotive grade tape, and the leading edge has a lip that helps hold it onto the hood edge, its not going anywhere. Just make sure you prep surface with alcohol first and let dry before attaching. Only giving it 4 stars because holes didn't line up with hood latches.

I purchased this to match my RR cowl covers. It is not the same material and not the same texture. Please follow the instructions to the T! With that being said... The rear lip(windshield side) extents below the thickness of the 3m tape. It takes $300 worth of 11r visegrips and c-clamps and a heat gun to get the material to deform to get the 3m tape to make contact with the hood. If you go this route don't enlarge the holes until you complete this task. This plastic will change shape significantly with temperature differentials(cold weather vs engine bay and hood temp). After having bought this and seen first hand I wouldn't purchase it again. I fully expect it to release from the hood and bow like I've seen others. If you aren't the kind of guy that can "live" with it, don't waste your time.

What a heaping pile of.... Plastic. Very cheap looking. So I painted it with truck bed liner. Then it doesn't fit, passenger side is warped. The tabs that go under the hood latches, lol, no way. They're off by at least half an inch on both sides. The 3m tape gets 5 stars, it sticks to my car, but the deflector keeps popping off, tape still stuck to hood. So I painted, removed the tabs, then installed and... It's a quarter inch short on both ends, doesn't even cover the hood 100%. Stay away from rugged ridge... That's my 2 cents.

I bought one, but it's already coming off two years later. I knew I should have added more 3M tape but I didn't feel like making a special trip to the store. Other than that it looks good and does its job. If it had more tape and hadn't started to pull up I would have given it a 5. Overall 3/5, would recommend and would buy again but do yourself a favor and get more 3M tape.

UPDATE : I bought extra 3 m wide double sided tape ; I put 1 to 1 1/2” strips folded very thick and used it on top edge . Especially left side.It has worked! It is very sturdy and it’s on there! Will not come off or lift!. I highly recommend this so it won’t come off.The side holes do not line up had to modify.It I had not used these side tabs; the whole thing would have flown off. It only adheres on one side . Seems like the left side while driving lifts up. Will try a different tape to keep it from coming up.

I have 2016 Wrangler Unlimited. Did not fit. Amazon says it will fit when you go to the product page but it did not. Tabs that have the holes for the hood latch did not line up. Struggled with taking it off and back on multiple times to try to get the holes to line up on each side but when you line up one side the other side is off by about .5 inches and will not fit. Do not buy for a 2016 model. Maybe it will fit other models or maybe I received a poorly manufactured run but oh well. If it doesn't fit it doesn't fit.

Disappointed in the look as it didn't match my other exterior accessories with the same pattern. More of a "dull" diamond look rather than sharp. Other than that it looks good but doesn't fit perfectly, doesn't lay flat and hard to put on yourself

The holes that bolt under the hood latch didn’t match up with the holes properly, and it the double sided tape used to keep it flush on the hood arnt strong enough, the plastic keeps popping up. For a piece of plastic that costs over $100 with tax it should’ve flawless. The quality seems like a “wish” knock off!

It a great product, fit was excellent. Between adhesive strips and point where hood latch holds it are tight and looks great. Highly recommend and great price, makes my beast jeep even better.

Item came damaged. I think more care can be put into the packaging. Looking at the rest of the product looks good. Must wait and see for installation part of the review. Have requested a replacement. Will update review later.
