73 Tracks from 1955 -1961 when Berry was recording with the Chess label. For people who remeber Berry from that period all the "hits" and many others are included. This package is faithfully reproduced and represents good value for money. For anyone who may have vaguely heard of Chuck Berry he did a lot more than "My Ding A Ling" (not inclided here). He was an inspired country blues musician who cleverly exploited the white teenage market writing songs about college days, cruising in cars etc something that the average black person couldn't aspire to. His tunes and especially the words are brilliant. For example listen to the very first track on disc 1 (or three) Johnny B. Goode. It is very wordy but every word had irts own note. I can't say I like every track but as a resource of material from that Blues / Rock n Roll era it represents a good purchase.

This was the best money I've ever spent on buying a CD here on Amazon.In addition to the Great Tracks we all know, there are wonderful Blues Ballads, Rockin' Instrumentals and more.Some I'd never heard of before and got quite a kick out of the lyrics !Out of over 60 tracks over 3 CD's maybe one or two are showing their age in recording quality, but you 'll still be blown away. If you're a fan of 50's and 60's Rock n Roll, this should be in your collection.

The guy invented the style, plays wonderfly well. You'll be surprised how good a blues guitarist he was3 cd's for this price is really Worth it.It contains most of his great hits of course but also some more less knowned songs.Trouble with Chuck Berry is tryoing to get a complete collection, if that is not your aim buy this set.Can't stop listening to it.

It's Chuck Berry songs what more do you want the guy is a superb artists if it wasn't for Chuck Berry we wouldn't have the Rolling Stones the Beatles and a load of other groups from the 60s Chuck Berry rocks ♠️♠️♠️♠️

After Bill Haley the founder of Rock and Roll and Elvis The King, Chuck Berry along with JLL Buddy Holly Fats and Little Richard is one of the giants of the genre lucky he saw Elvis on the Hayride and took up Rock and Roll!

Lo compre para regalar pero al final lo estamos disfrutando ambos, "Johnny B. Good" no es el único gran éxito de esta leyenda, no me malinterpreten, no soy un fan extremo de Chuck Berry, pero cuando me comencé a escuchar estos tres CDs me gustaron todas sus canciones, (por su puesto unas mas que otras), creo que la música de este artista no tiene desperdicio, además 73 canciones por 16€ no me parece caro.Espero que les sirviera de algo, Un saludo ; )
