Big & Easy Crosswords Puzzle Book

Reasonably inexpensive. Easy to read. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys crossword puzzles.

My husband and I are in our early 70's and we feel these puzzle books are particularly geared toward our generation. Some of the clues would not be known by younger people. Yes, the puzzles are on the easy side, but still there are some answers you have to think about a bit and it's rewarding to be able to finish a crossword puzzle completely. We're having a lot of fun with these and plan to buy more. At this price, why not?

Patio summer fun!

The larger print size is great and so are the larger squares. Sometimes the same clues are used throughout the puzzle book, but that's not a problem for me. A younger person may struggle as the clues often seem geared toward Seniors. I took off one star because the solid black squares often "bleed through" to the blanks on the other side. This makes it look like the puzzle has already been worked & possibly erased - it hasn't been - it's just the bleed through. I've bought a couple of these & will buy more. The clues are challenging enough to make me think, but not so difficult that I get discouraged.

This is not the best crossword puzzle. It’s not easy like advertised and my grandmother has a lot of frustrating days trying to do these. I bought this to help her keep her mind sharp but it mostly makes her feel stupid. Even though she use to always do these. I don’t recommend this at all for elderly.

I really needed this during a time When I was recovering from a procedure. The letters were big enough for me to see and the puzzles were challenging but easy enough to keep me occupied. Good buy for the money.

Great for elderly people - recommend it highly.
