Ports always red
Instructions say orange for 1g and green for 10g. I've plugged servers into it that have known 10g working connections (on a smart L3 switch) and have limited or no connectivity. Doesnt matter if I'm using transcievers with my fiber or copper, always red. If I plug in an SFP+ to RJ45 adapter to send DHCP from my main L3 switch it is also red. Same if I plug in a 1g laptop. Basically it doesnt work and unfortunately I'm past my return date. I don't recommend it. TP Link makes an 8 port L3 switch, costs more but works. I went that route and now my VMware vSan is working. This is after weeks of testing and struggling and trying to figure out my problem, which I thought was in my underground fiber. But putting all the servers in the same rack changed nothing. Still lights up the ports red.

Was a little apprehensive, but ... working well!
Not a brand I had heard of, almost no reviews, not widely available, but a very good price for 8 SFP+ 10gbps ports. In reality, it was well packed, worked out-of-the-box, and is looking really good (so far).Few branding marks (e.g. the cardboard box says "Enterprise Networking Solution", "Network Switch", no mention of "Tupavco" anywhere!). You may find the very same device with different "branding".All 8 ports lit up on my initial connection test, no fan so silent operation, runs cool with my 5 concurrent connections, and I see iperf3 reporting close enough (really >9) to the 10gbps, varying with what pair of devices are under test.I've only tested with generic 1m and 2m DAC passive cables at 10gbps, uplink to a MokerLink 2.5gbps/10gbps switch, client computers have an assortment of 10gbps cards (Emulex, Intel, Mellanox), no connectivity issues.Issues:1) Print on front says 10gbps is green LED, 1gbps is orange, but reality is 10gbps (any?) connection is red.2) It may be missing some certification labels.

it's only 10GB,
it's only 10GB, lights on the device don't match what the seller and box say. return is a long wait too. just stay away from it.

Not for consumer use. "Small form-factor" doesn't mean small home or small office.
This switch may be small form factor relative to business and industrial equipment but this is not appropriate for typical home and small office use. Note that the ports require 10Gb modules; they don't accept common connectors. This is a very solid product that ships with rubber dust protection plugs for each port. Pricing is excellent if you're in the market for an unmanaged 10G switch.

Disappointing
Update: It is not a faulty switch, the replacement has the exact same problematic behavior. I am able to establish a 10Gbps connection with my Mikrotik switch over SFP+ modules, the led indicator is red. When I connect my Mac Studio using a SFP+ to RJ45 converter, I have about a 50% success rate to establish a connection. When the connection is established, the led indicator is red. No green or yellow or any other color. My MacBook Pro has never been able to make a connection (SFP+ to RJ45 converters). This switch is not a good product, especially considering the almost $170 price point. Not recommended!=============================================================I’m very disappointed with this switch. First of all, the led lights are always red even through the instructions mention green or yellow, depending on the link speed. I managed to connect my Mac Studio with a SFP+ to RJ45 module and I had a 50% success. For some reason, half of the times the port won’t even come up. With my 2019 MacBook Pro I had complete failure, I was never able to get a connection. I ordered a replacement, suspecting that the switch might be faulty, and I will update when I get the replacement. For now, 1 star.
