If it quits check for unattached wires.
Stopped working after 9 months. Sometimes if it heats up it will stop to prevent damage and that’s normal but today I wasn’t using it long at all and it just quit. Took it apart and discovered a small wire had come loose. Soldered it back and its working now but this is just shoddy workmanship. And the warranty requires you to package it up and pay for shipping and wait up to 90 days. Anyway that’s what happened and that’s how I fixed it if anyone else has the same problem it’s a good thing to check before throwing it out.

BUY IT !!!
Never thought I needed one of these until I was laying new floor in my house. Greatest tool ever !!! Works great, make cuts NOTHING else will, and surprisingly long battery life. Why did I wait so long to buy one?

Great tool Super price
Best price - reviews complained of poor packing and missing parts- the tool arrived muy pronto in a padded shipping envelope with all the paperwork and accessories including an Allen wrench to change tool heads. I slapped in a battery from one of my other tools and immediately went to work with the trimmer saw blade. Works fantastic for trim work with plenty of power for moldings and panel. Go Ryobi!

I have had a lot of Multi tools, and this is just as good as dewalt, rigid, and makita. For way cheaper. The best feature is its ability to take on almost all brands attachment. Definitely strongly recommend this for any tool collection!

Great tool.
I bought this as a gift and the person loves it.The only complaint is that even though I bought it "new" not used it did not ship in it's original packaging or with any original paperwork/instruction manual. Just wrapped in some plastic.

Ryobi sander multi-tool
Ryobi system compare to "professional name brand" saved $200 and took about 5seconds longer to change tool bits.I have many Ryobi battery operating items, and I would not have purchased the "better" unit because of all the extra items to support 2 different brands.

Arrived broken.
It arrived poorly packed, with no owners manual, and didn’t work. I have other Ryobi products and they are great.

Did not come with attachments listed
This item did not come in a box - just wrapped in plastic. I bought this for my husband for his birthday and by the time he opened it (when he needed it for a project), we realized it was missing ALL of the accessories. Past our return window so I guess we will just buy the attachments separately.

Doesn't work with lithium
Doesn't work with lithium battery despite yellow colour. You'll need to use the old style cad battery. Considering the poor reviews, I'm guessing this isn't a genuine tool. The genuine tool seems to be smaller and works better.
