Nice looking post lamps. The hole pattern is too small to attach to the top of a standard 4x4 pot. I can only attach them with two screws. I'm considering cutting a larger piece of wood to attach them. Also it is really an aesthetic thing, but when you screw the top down to the base the solar panel doesn't line up square with the base. It is about 30 degrees off. I find it very displeasing. They couldn't cut the threads so they line up better.They have three brightness settings, but even on the brightest level they aren't super bright. Enough to see a path but not really useful for doing things outdoors. They have two warmth settings and the warmer is a very yellow light. The remote works quite well and the lights are responsive to it.My biggest issue is there is no manual on off setting for them. It has a timer setting with 5 and 8 hours, but no actual on off switch that I can find. I was looking to use these on my deck, but I don't want it lit up all the time at night. I wanted some solar powered lights I could turn on and off. That's not what I got.

We added these post lights to the deck at our camper. They work well and Included 2 remotes to change the color tones as well as a flashing option. All the lights sync automatically and change with the remote.My only concern is they are a bit larger than a standard 4x4 post. I was only able to use 2 of the 4 screws to attach to the post (see pic).They are adjustable to be very bright and adds a nice ambiance to the deck.Come on automatically at night and lasts all night long.I've gotten quite a few compliments on them. They work well all except for the sizing issue.I recommend them.

This is a review of the ALFIOT Solar Post Cap Lights.We live in a sunny area and we have a large front and back yard replete with solar lights and garden statues. Because of this, we were eager to get these and happy to say we do like them.You have two light options - bright light or warm yellow. We got these for the fence that lines our driveway and decided the bright white looked best.They come with a remote which we really don’t use - you can switch light modes and set a timer.We have only had these a short time but so far they work great; even on an overcast day these light the driveway all night long.Lastly, the lights are plastic but they look luxe and like glass. These solar post caps were slightly larger than our 4x4 posts, but it wasn’t any problem attaching them.Recommended.

I got these solar post cap lights in a pack of four. They are completely constructed of plastic with a large rechargeable battery in the center. The light can be switched to a warm white color or cool white, which I like having both as a choice. these post lamps even came with a remote control, which you need to change the color temperatures, but it also has brightness and mode buttons. The modes just kind of switch between the two white lights. Not sure how long the plastic will hold up but they look good for now.

I love these small solar lights. I do not have to worry about finding an electrician to connect wires or borrow a man to screw them in a post. I can do it all myself.Even the remote was great. I tried the remote when I was still indoors and when I put them outdoors during daylight and it would not work. Once it got dark and the light started shining I used the remote to test all the settings (except the 5 and 8 hour settings). It worked fine.The lights have three dimming settings for each light color. Two colors: warm and cool. That's 6 colors total. There is also 3 speeds for the lights to fade in and out, for each color and each dimming. That's 18 variations.The first day they had 5 hours of sunlight and so far it has been 6 hours of darkness and they are still glowing brightly. The setting I left them on was still and cool.If you want simple installation, small lights (4x4x4 inches), a variety of lights, this product is for you.UPDATE: I have had these lamps outside for nearly a week now, in the rain and on cloudy days, and they still are working wonderfully. If I could give them a 7 star I would!
