Great educational toy!
I love Learning Resources products, and the ‘Number Nails’ are one of our favorites! It’s a fantastic educational tool that offers multiple levels of difficulty. My child loves searching for the nails and hammering them in. I think it’s the perfect toy to help develop fine motor skills, along with early math and problem-solving skills. Highly recommend!

Great for busy kiddos
I got this for my two busy toddler boys. They are obsessed with hammers. This number activity is the first one to keep their attention for over 30 minutes. The quality is amazing! We love how this learning tool will grow with them as they gain more knowledge. One of the best learning tools and such a great value!

Class favorite
Today was day three of using this set.My class of preK really like playing with it.It’s nicely designed. Love having two houses. Enough walls and roof pieces.Only drawback is if they hammer too hard. The “nails” can be tough to get out.Not sure if the design of the hammer could have been better designed to help removing the nails. A little teacher help is needed at times. This really held the classes attention.Would recommend the setThe last drawback might have been more from who shipped it. My box came as is. Not in the Amazon box or bag. Basically just stuck a label on the box. Which now has a sticky spot.

Great for emerging math skills
This learning set allows children an interactive way to learn counting and placing numbers in their correct order. There are several different ways in which the children can count dots, objects, and match them to their correct number on the nail. The children have hammers they can use to hammer the nails into the house. The hammer and nails are a lightweight plastic. The cards are laminated, however, the premade holes for the nails are easy to tear. We have used this set several times with my older daughter while allowing my younger son to practice using he hammer on one of the houses.

Incredibly fun way to practice counting and sequencing
The moment I saw this product, I knew my preschool daughter would adore it. She's comfortable with basic counting, but has just started to recognize sequence and patterns. This game really hits the sweet spot of understanding, and makes repetition really fun.The best part about this game is how tactile and three-dimensional it is. Young hands have so much to touch, examine, and turn over. They get to root through a pile or bowl to find the right nail, and then they get to hammer it into place. This learning by DOING is so much more effective than worksheets or flashcards could ever be.I wondered how well it would actually work, and I have been impressed by that. The house has to be put on its side with the card laid in place. There's a small lip around the edge to help the card not slide around while the child is working. Once the nail is set in place, it only needs a gentle tap to hold in place. You could even push it in with your fingers, but how fun is that? They don't click into place, and they don't require a tool to remove. You can just pull them out from the front, or reach into the house from the bottom and push them out.Another thing that impressed me is how they've color-coded the cards in an order of difficulty, making the game playable for a longer time. They have also included a few different sets of rules so the game can be played in many ways.I'm so glad it comes with two houses and two hammers, so that you can play together. This is such a great product, and I'm sure we'll be repeating it over and over.

Not very practical
Great for hammering, but the pieces keep falling down.

Great classroom activity
My Kindergarten class loves this number nails set. I ended up buying another set because it was so popular. It’s a great numeracy activity as well as fine motor. I have some children that struggle with numeracy activities & are not engaged, this did the trick.
