Should be compulsory for children from 5 to to 95 years of age
It’s the Clangers-what’s not to like? This is exactly how life on the moon should be; a visionary series that all children should experience however old they are (I’m 59 and still love it!)

DVD is great for little ones
The DVD's look good. But who ever dropped them off put them in somebody else's letterbox. I found them by my dustbins in the driveway ( soaking wet ).Your delivery men have dropped off 5 parcels to my house, all others end up somewhere else. Please look into it

Great inoffensive fun. A must watch.
Broadcast by the BBC in the late 60s / early 70s, these inoffensive knitted pink creatures provide splendid entertainment for kids of all ages. The narration also makes some poignant comments regarding the human race (too subtle for kids to pick up on - but there for older viewers). This is essential viewing for people who remember the TV show & repeats on BBC. It is simply great fun.

Th Clangers Are Simply !!!Awesome!!! for Cildren Age Five to One Hundred Years
Visited the U.K. as a child at age 6 during a Christmas holiday.I received a book of Clangers stories as a gift and read it untilthe pages finally fell out.I saw the Clangers DVDs and imported them to Canada for my son.He is now 7 years old and can't wait to watch the Clangers. He loves thesoup dragon and the iron chicken. The stories are very non-materialistic, and depict reasonable interactionsbetween the creatures and those they meet. Some philosophical contentregarding community, communication, and getting along. All done ata level children can understand and relate to. There is very little that could beconsidered violence in any of the episodes. Encourages meta-congnition in children.Cant' understand how this series never got picked up in North America. It's still wonderful after all these years. My 7 year old is proof.Warning the DVDs are not all region, so they won't play on a standardNorth American DVD player unless it is capable of all regions. We play ourson a computer using Ubuntu and 'Movie Player'. I also have 'PowerDVD'for Linux which I purchased which plays the DVDs nicely on the computer.Am considering getting a multi-region DVD player to allow the family towatch these shows on the television.

Clangers series 1
This dvd takes me back thirty years, to being in primary school and watching the Clangers with my sister in the days when tv was only on 4 channels and you couldn't rewind or replay. Now my three kids, age 12. 10 and 6 have discovered the whistling conversations, blue wool soup and 1970's recycling messages the Clangers bring. The Clangers have survived the test of time. Like Pingu they transfer across many languages and cultures.
