Unusual in a good way
I didn’t realize these were for aquariums. I bought 2 bags for my daughter's plants. Still, they’re nice. They’re shimmery and bright when they’re wet. Very cheap, too.

Nice tiny weeny gravel.
It's sold to go at the bottom of a fish tank, but I used the tiny gravel, to cover the topsoil of my house plants to keep the moisture in plus it looks really neet, my mum instantly commented how nice it looked... Rather than just bare compost! Nothing wrong in that it just looks really different the grains are tiny but colourful, shame the bag isn't bigger as I would imagine it would only cover a small surface of a fish tank just a tiny one at that...Would buy more though for my plants cheep enough.

Good for snails and slugs
I planted out an angels trumpet in the garden and snails completely shredded it within a couple of days (mmm... foreign food, lovely). I searched online for a solution and two suggestions were crumpled tinfoil around the base of the stem and surround stem of plant with gravel. Apparently snails and slugs don't like spiky bits on their tender undersides.Worked perfectly.

I used it for plants.
I bought this to use to cover the soil of some indoor cacti I decided to repot. The gravel is very small but not as fine as I saw described in some reviews. I'd say the gravel was about 2mm in size and is a very appealing mix of colours.I also found that when wet they clumped together nicely so this would be perfect for its intended purpose of lining the bottom of a fish tank.

Coloured stones for fish tank/bowl
Bought as present, can't really comment as don't know the first thing about fish tanks, bought 2 x 1kg bags and the base of 20ltr bowl with radius of approximately 10 inches is completely covered with approximately 1-2 inches of cover

Wave Colour Fine Gravel...
Lovely little bag of colourful gravel - it's very small so it's hard to wash (most of it fell straight through the holes in my colander) but it looks lovely topping up the rest of the gravel I have in the 12ltr tank I'm using as a large hatchery for my baby Platy's! 🐟 🙂

Pretty and versatile
This is a great value back of brightly coloured gravel. We use it to make paths for fairy gardens, and to sit on top of the soil in our succulent plant pots. It provides a lovely pop of colour and is exactly as described.

Great gravel.
This is quite a fine coloured gravel. I used this to make a fairy garden. The different colours brought it alive. A good sized bag too. Have plenty left to make more. This would also look nice in the tops of potted plants.
