Bicycle Motor Works - the Sage Betty (Army GREEN, not black)

I have to up date and change my rating - from 3 stars to five - (this was my 3 star) Right off the bat- I would have given this a "BIG FIVE!" but I'm bulding this bike for my son an he picked out this bike for the type and style shown in the add.... but instead of the V-frame in the photo for the add we received an entirely different style of bike......??? we wer shipped an HBC cruiser made by hyper..... I am not saying that this is a poor quality bike for this kit, I think its a great bike and I'm going to keep it - what I am saying is it is NOT the bike that my son picked out and NOT what he wanted for his build. so with that in mind, we are ordering another "bike" so he can build what he wants and I'm ordering another engine kit and building myself a bike also. - I haven't assembled the bike yet but here's a pic of the tag from the bike I received. Jus be aware you may not get a bike like the one in the add and that add and bike shown are why we went with this kit - BTW.... I have NO other complaint about this kit! But still only going to give "the kit" 3 stars because it's NOT the bike we were shopping for or were lead to believe we were purchasing - so that was my initial rant! But after receiving all of the parts and beginning the build, if I could give this "KIT" a higher rating I would. I've bought parts and have built a few bikes and have bought many parts from many vendors and this, as a kit, is overall the best collection of parts and product that is all put in to a top quality kit for the for the best price "hands down!" from a top quality bike to an engine with larger mounting studs and hex drive bolts instead of the Philips screws in most other kits. Over all I would give this kit the best rating of any purchase that I have made on amazon! and I have made MANY. Looking forward to my next purchase from Bicycle Motor Works! Thanks for the great kit! and I hole heartedly apologize for my initial rant! - I will submit a photo when my build is Finnished.

Great price. SLOW shipping. Overall very happy with purchase. Took my husband approx. 4-6 hrs to assemble. Lots of power, son is 6'4 250 lbs and it hauls him very good. Would give 5 stars but shipping was SLOW. We purchased 2

This is a great bike. Had a friend put it together. He said the parts were good quality, and it's so much fun. It hauls ass. Very easy to ride I'm 50, and a woman.

You can't get parts for it. I bought it to run around town..

I cannot recommend these 2 stroke bikes or bike kits. I believe 4 stroke are better options.2 stroke bicycles require pedal, then pop the clutch to start the engine. Can be difficult to start.4 stoke bicycles do not need to be pedaled to start. Pull the starter cord (like a lawn mower) and it starts right up. No clutchto hold in. After starts up, twist throttle and go. Also, 2 stokes require mixing oil with gas whereas 4 stokes do not require mixingoil to gas. 2 stokes are faster, but 4 stokes are smoother, less smoke, and generally last longer.

Bought this thru a family members account and absolutely love this bike. Only one complaint is when we got it in the mail the gas tank was dented but it doesn't leak so we just using it the way it is. But may want to put more bubble wrap around the gas tank in future orders.
