This was installed and up and running less than 24 hours after ordering. What an incredible time to be a DIY’er. Removing it was a little bit of a pain BUT change all the high limit switches along with the heat exchanger. Also take a vacuum and give your dryer a deep clean. Have a little plastic organizer next to you and put the screws into it as you take them out. Each step getting its own square. That way you go in reverse and get them all put back.I needed pliers/channel locks to remove some clips on top (pay attention to how they are installed. Take pictures!) and an impact with a #2 Phillips bit. No extensions needed. Don’t be afraid to bend some metal for easy removal and then bend it back.I spent $23 on this perfect kit. 5% from Amazon and about $2.13 in change from the bottom of my dryer. With a bunch of my missing impact bits and guitar picks.Day 1: it’s a great dealI’ll edit when it goes out. Hopefully 8-10 years from now. Good luck.

Product was very simple to install although it goes in a tight place. BUT, after using for 3 weeks it is now overheating. Will call a repairman to make fix this time. Would not take a chance on getting another element and wasting more money.

Save your money and buy quality part, it's time consuming taking the dryers apart, AGAIN . Dont care what they claim, it's grabage. Mine lasted 4months and gave out. Coil broke after 4 months

Love the extra coil. Makes it heat and dry clothes better than the original.Would like instructions with it. One of the parts I could not find where it went. Would have been nice to replace.Update 1 month later ..dryer stopped heating again. Contacted seller and they sent out a new parts bundle. After taking dryer apart to troubleshoot, the replaced parts were fine. Problem was the thermistor, the 1 part I didn't replace. After replacing, the dryer is heating well again. Appreciate the great service from this seller. If a problem, they to take care of you.

The item is just what my dryer needed. The packaging of this item is poor!! It was just put in a box,this item truly needs to have some sort of cushioning. It is a rather delicate part and can get damaged very easily.
