Trash! Do not buy.
The media could not be loaded. Second review. Spend 2 hours filing and sending 4 mm stick to 3.5. Finally got it to fit. Left it to dry for a week. Went fishing today ang it broke in the same place after a few casts.First review. It should have the fiber sticks with half MM increments because in my case I needed 3.5mm stick. Epoxy drys very slow. The tread rips easily

Decent kit but not for me
This seems like a decent kit to patch a broken fishing pole but the repair pieces are ridgid and will limit flexibility in a pole. I broke the tip of one of my rods and thought I could use this to restore the missing length and add a new eye but it doesn't provide what I need.

Worked great!
I had a few fishing rods witch had been accidentally broken over the years and I hated to just throw them away. I saw this repair kit for fishing rods and decided to give it a try. It has worked out great to repair the broken rods that I had and to repair a couple of tips and eyelets. It came with everything that I needed to make the repairs and I didn't have to throw away any of the broken rods. I have been very satisfied with this product and glad that I gave it a try.

great tackle box addition
I haven't had to use this yet but having it for those "just in case" moments is never a bad thing. this kit comes complete with 8 carbon fiber sticks, epoxy glue, a measuring cup, some wrapping thread, clipper, sandpaper and brushes - the only bad thing is that you wouldn't be able to use a broken rod right away as the epoxy needs time to cure.

A must have.
I now cary this every time i go fishing. I didn’t think i would ever need to fix a rod out on a trip since i carry multiple rods but on my last trip to the jetties my cart carrying my rods blew over snapping the tip on every rod. I was without a rod after making a 2 hour drive. The whole trip was a waste. I used this kit to repair those rods and can say it has held up well. I will keep one with me in the future from now on.
