Terrasoul Superfoods Organic White Quinoa, 6 Lbs - Pre-washed | Gluten-free | Plant Protein

This is good quality quinoa that taste great. I take their word for it that it’s pre-washed. I don’t rinse it. I put a quarter cup of quinoa and a cup of water in a round Pyrex uncovered container. I put another cup of water in my instant pot. Then I put the Pyrex bowl on a trivet in the bottom of my instant pot. I set it on high pressure for 30 minutes and quick release when it’s done. It’s so easy and comes out delicious every time. Then I just put the lid on the Pyrex bowl and refrigerate it, so it’s ready to add to salads, etc. You may have to adjust the water used with the quinoa for your moisture preference. I like that I don’t have to wash the instant pot this way.I plan to order this same quinoa when we need more. We both love it and it’s budget friendly.

This quinoa is very well packed and this is a very generous amount for the price. We use it in soups and my husband often prepares a quinoa in salad with French vinaigrette and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers - excellent warm or at room temperature - a truly delicious and healthful dish.

This quinoa does NOT sprout. I sprout quinoa regularly to make rejuvelac for making nut + seed cheese. I love terra soul everything so I decided to buy their quinoa when my previous bag ran out. I tried to sprout 4 times with no luck. Switched to another brand and it sprouted as it normally does. This is only an issue if you are also using quinoa for sprouting. Otherwise, quinoa is great.

It’s healthy, it’s organic, it’s cheaper than Bullseye or SuperMart prices!! I cook this with bone broth instead of water to add even more nutrients. I eat this every single day for at least one meal: I add it to soups and chili’s to add a little more substance to them. I add this to food processed kale, lemon juice, olive oil, feta, and garlic to make a nice cold salad. I add cheese, Olive oil, broccoli and milk to make a healthier “Mac n cheese”. I add it to egg casseroles and quiches. I’ve even had it for breakfast with apple sauce, cinnamon, and hemp seeds or crushed nuts. This cooks a lot faster than rice, has more protein than rice, and is just as versatile as rice. Good stuff

I have been using this brand of quinoa for a few years and am very happy with it. It is pretty clean (but we still rinse it), don't think I've ever found any dirt or other gunk in it. It cooks up well, and the price is fine for the quality. Will buy again when we run out.
