Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Anti-Aging Smoothing Lotion 250Ml, 8.5 Fl Oz (4195-6N)

This is my favorite lotion and I'm so glad that I'm able to purchase on Amazon as most stores carry Palmers, just not this particularly lotion. I've found that my skin retains moisture so much longer using this. I travel quite a bit going from a humid climate to a dry and this helps me maintain not only hydrated skin but smooth skin as well. I've used this faithfully for 10+ years and though it seems as though Palmers' tweaks the formula every now and then (notice more in the scent) it is consistently a great product. The smell is okay, but dissipates enough to not annoy. I use this right after the shower and my skin feels silky soft all day long!

I was in England for the summer and bought a bottle at Boots. My skin never felt softer....all day too. I am serious mosquito bait, always have been. I don't like to use deet products for health reasons. I noticed they completely stopped biting me. It is amazing. I don't like the scent but I think that is part of what works so I am not complaining. I have tried so many products for my dry skin and this is the only one that keeps my skin moist and young looking all day. Best stuff ever!

Not necessarily magical, but it's the best I've tried so far for what I wanted it to do. I have extremely sensitive skin and I get annoying red bumps here and there on my inner thighs thanks to my own sweat and tight clothes, and also get a lot of ingrown hairs on my calves, so I wanted something to clear them away and this seems to be doing a very good job compared to other products I've tried. It's moisturizing and clearing, helping to clear all your little insecurities away one application at a time. I feel that I will have even better results after continued use, I've been using it for about three weeks and my skin takes a long time to heal completely so most of the slight spots left over are just old marks from bumps and ingrowns I had before I started using it.

I love Palmers, in general. This products works well (purchased for bumps on arms). Unfortunately, the smell is quite perfumey, it doesn't have a nice cocoa butter smell, but an old lady perfume smell. Will probably look for different product next time.

It has a strong scent but it really works and helps smooth the skin. This is the first product I’ve tried that really helped my KP.

I have only used this product once - it didn't say whether one could use on the face. I used it on my arms and legs - and they definitely became smoother. I put it on at night - because it doesn't smell good - but that's ok - it definitely is value for money and works.

I just received this wonderful cocoa butter lotion today and it smells like paradise aka coconut. In addition, it makes my skin look brand new and soft. I have been looking for a type of lotion that I can use after being exposed to the sun over the summer. I decided to do some research and I came across this product and I decided to get it. I did not even know this even existed since the stores I go to don't sell it. I will buying more in the future.

This is an amazing product. Doesn’t leave a sticky or oily feel after application. Does a great job especially if you have very dry skin or are diabetic. The fragrance however is sad, it smells a bit like plastic

I started using this last September after randomly discovering it on Amazon.. & oh how I wish I had found it sooner. I previously wrote a review on Nivea's firming oil saying how great it was for stretch marks etc... but oh nope, I have finally found a product even better for skin complaints & it is time for a review lol. Although this is not an oil, but a butter.. it massages in to skin just as well.. keeping it moisturised & supple for some time after. It does have a stronger scent to it but personally it isn't overbearing.. it doesn't linger for long after application though if you did find it too strong a smell, so it won't stink out your clothes.. But getting to its results... after 2 weeks of using this I no longer had any 'stretchies' ... over 10 years of having them over my butt & inner thighs, & trying almost every cream & oil out there.. I use Palmers anti ageing soothing lotion over a fortnight & they disappear! In my other reviews I did state that I can only judge the results on puberty stretch marks.. I've not had babies so I can't comment on pregnancy scars. On that.. I'm not sure how well this product would work on them, depending how deep they were.. but they definitely work on puberty scars.. which are still stretch marks none the less. But after over a decade of being stuck with my stripes.. I can't praise this product enough in helping them. If it worked on mine I'm sure it'll work on others to... try it & see the results for yourself :) I'm preaching on about how well it works on body stretchies.. but I've also found it works great on the face to, I've had less spots since using this. But avoid the eye area, the scent alone tends to sting & make them water.. I've found that anyway.Overall - 10/10.. not just for results but price to!

I bought this a couple of times for around £3.50 now the price has increased to £14.99! It’s a good product for exfoliating, the smell isn’t so great though. I’m not sure if I’ll buy again with such a price hike.

When I initially got this, it was fine. After about a month or so the scent just became unbearable

I really liked this cream. Its very moisturising on my skin, though my skin isn't overly dry (dry but not like a desert!).The smell I actually like - if you like very sweet smells, you should like this.Even if you hate the smell, it doesn't longer for long and the product is worth it!I had scarring on my legs from previous ingrown hours, and within a week they had faded. Now they're all gone (two months later). They were mild stars, but I still think that's great. The product also has prevent ingrowing hours! How I'm not sure... Maybe just the act of moisturising daily, or maybe it's the ingredients.Its very easily absorbed too and definitely non-greasy.I hope this review has been helpful, please give it a thumbs up if you've found it to be.Thank you!
