Absolute BS
I caught this unattached tick on my pup. I put it in a plastic bad to test the device. Not only does it not repel from the device, it seems absolutely unaffected in the slightest. Probably the only thing it is good for is squashing it. Someone needs a better solution to these nasty bugs.

Did not live up to their waterproof claim
I like the way it attaches to the collar and that it has a replaceable battery. However I am not sure how effective it actually is as my dogs still ended up with some ticks. Didn't have a 'control' dog that wasn't wearing a repeller to make a comparison....But the worst is that it did NOT live up to the claim of being water proof. I had purchase 2 (I have 2 dogs that love water) and the first one died after the dogs played on a beach and swam some (only 5 days after purchase), the second one died 2 days later when the dog was having fun going after the stream from a water hose.
