These are great night lights. They are turned on and off with a switch which was what I was looking for. The automatic light sensing night lights for one thing stay on longer then I like and for another thing they don't give you anyway near full brightness that the off and on switch type give. These are top quality night lights and I would buy again if needed.

Research the health risk of constant exposure to LED lights.

I never liked the auto LED 50,000 hr. throwaway types because they may not work after 6 years of "guaranteed" use, so I gave my auto LED plugs away. My electric connectors are "strategically" hidden under kitchen cabinets and windowsills, so the auto LED nightlights stayed on all the time. I needed a manual switch control and this product fixes that without having to unplug every day.My favorite feature is the C-type incandescent bulb which burns at a reasonable (and warm) 4 watts can be swapped for a screw-in LED, so you don't have to throw the plug-in away. But make sure you have a wide spade connector, otherwise you may blow it!

Just what I needed!

We moved to a new state and was looking for a night light to make our transition easy. My son who is 10.5 year old would get upset at night because it would get pitch dark in the hallway. We decided to leave the bathroom light on but that was too bright for him.This is perfect because it can be manually switched on and off only when we are ready to retire for the day and start the day. I would recommend this for sure.

I cannot stand these new LED night lights. I love this kind. My bathroom is pitch black and I turn this on and leave it on. Bright enough that I don't even need to turn on ceiling light using the bathroom at night

These are hard to find now. Regular bulb, even on/off switch!
