shampoo doesn't suds up a lot but works well and conditioner is good.

I have tried probably about 25 shampoo and conditioner bars over the last 2 years from Kitsch, viori, earth is, ethique, Naples soap company, Aspen Kay, aromatica, and totally natural ones from chagrin valley soap (if the don't contain any sort of naturally derived "sulfate" they leave a residue on the hair that will make it feel waxy). Some shampoo bar formulas were too rough with large particles getting stuck and ripping on my hair on my scalp when I wanted to shampoo it, but that don't lather enough when you just try it with your hands. Some shampoos left my hair super dry or my scalp as itchy as before.The conditioner bars were either way too heavy for gm thin and fine hair, leaving it weighed down and greasy within a day, or ended up drying them out, or even though I stored them in a draining dish and.out of the reach of water would get soft and unusable for the last 1/3 of the bar (looking at you kitsch, which was really disappointing because otherwise that was a great conditioner).But this shampoo and conditioner bar are something else. I don't think I've had hair this soft since I was a child. Honestly, you can feel it when you wash out the conditioner already, my hair felt so different! I was afraid it would be also weighed down or get stringy super fast, but I can go a full two days between washes with the softest and shiniest hair i have had in a long time. I actually double checked if the bars are really silicone-free because I couldn't believe it. I have pretty severely color treated hair and I haven't needed to use my bond repair before conditioning since starting using nole conditioner bars. Pretty amazing!So far they also still look like they're new, and they lather amazingly!Highly recommend!The only thing I might have docked one point for is the smell, it's not my favorite, but it's gone when the hair dries, so I don't really care.Can't speak to longevity yet. But I'm blown away by everything else.

This was great for oily hair in the summer time I switched to the blonde chamomile one for the winter since my hair is dryer now!

I got these so I could travel with less packaging/bottles for carry on purposes. Bonus is that it works for my hair as well. The sample pack is good, since one of the conditioners is too heavy for my fine hair, so nice to experiment with what works for me. The little sizes are no problem and I traveled for 2 weeks and barely put a dent in either the shampoo or conditioner bar. I got a small soap dish (clear flexible plastic hedgehog-ish spiny, so the bars sit on the spines - no clue what the proper term is) so the bars don't get gooey before I have to put them back in my travel bag. Perfect! Will definitely travel with again, and when the samples get too small, I'll know which full size bars to buy and I'll just cut those into chunks to travel with.

I have gone through several brands of bar shampoos in the interest of giving up plastic. Most of them do not lather like a true shampoo and your hair has to go through a period of adjustment and somehow never feels clean. Totally different experience with Nole! First use I was so pleased and happy that I did not give up the search. The smell is lovely but nothing overwhelming. I may try some other formulas like the balance ones because my hair is grey now and much dryer than it used to be but also flat so my ends may be a little dry. But I must say of all the bar shampoos I have tried this brand is hands down the winner for feeling like shampoo we are familiar with from a plastic bottle.

I love everything about this shampoo and conditioner. My whole family uses them. I have daughters with really long hair and we only wash once a week. Their hair is soft and shiny. I feel at leave knowing I’m not putting toxic chemicals all over them. My husband had a beard and he loves it too. I would suggest getting soap dishes to help keep them clean and dry when not using. They last long.

This is the first shampoo/conditioner that I have tried in bar form. It smells nice and the shampoo surprisingly and delightfully lathers nicely. Despite many of the benefits, I will not be purchasing this brand/type of shampoo and conditioner again because my hair is becoming increasingly dry from it. I have even used extra conditioner and tried rinsing, reapplying, and even leaving it in my hair. I need something that will help keep it better moisturized.

I am on month 5 using this shampoo and conditioner. I bought this because I was struggling with itchy scalp - This shampoo and conditioner have really helped me. I love that my scalp feels good, my hair is soft and less frizzy. I bought it for my brother who is struggling with thinning hair and my friend who has dandruff and they have also seen a big difference. I would say give this shampoo a go!
