Electric Ice Cream Maker Replacement Motor for 4- and 6-Quart Models (155093-000-SHP)

We have had 3 White Mountain Freezers over the last 30 years, all hand crank. The kids have moved away and hand cranking the 6 qt freezer is not as fun as it used to be. We purchased the motor seperately. The motor attached to our current White Mountain Freezer and worked great. The first day we used it we made 4 batches of ice cream. The unit did not overheat and ran smoothly. There was some noise, but not nearly as bad as some reviewers have mentioned. We are looking forward to having more ice cream with less work!

Pricey but runs like a beauty! Had some difficulty getting it to fit my container. But with a little force, it adjusted. Some more wear and it will be fine.

I was so glad to find the motor on the Amazon website. Having purchased other items from them I knew Amazon was a reputable company and delivery would be prompt.The motor is great. It fits the icecream maker perfectly and only takes 30 minutes to make 6 quarts. It has been well worth the price. I would purchase one again in a heart beat if I needed one.JW Grace

I have a 4 qt white mountain set up that motor died on. I also have a 6 qt set up. The barrels are not the same size. They will not replace either motor. Only the 6 qt. They are great ice cream makers, I use them in my bakery. But this motor does not fit both a 4 qt or a 6 qt.

We have had out White Mountain ice cream freezer for SEVERAL years. When we got our freezer out this year, our motor quit working. We had to have a new motor right away & Amazon to the rescue again. This one works, ...sort of. We had to tie it on with some wire ties because it is a little tall for ours, but it works.

We bought the motor to replace a defective crank which came with the freezer when it was purchased. We had tried three times to make ice cream with that crank and in spite of cranking for a couple of hours it failed to make a can full.. The mixture froze in the bottom of the can. The motor fit the freezer and in 20 minutes on the fourth of July we had a can full of delicious smooth ice cream.

Piece of junk just like the other 2 that I sent back. I will never buy anything from White Mountain again. Three uses out of the motor before it spewed oil and burned up. This is what happens when you quit making things in America. Amazon needs to quit selling this product.

My parents had an electric White Mountain ice cream maker for over a decade that they loved! A couple of years ago it finally died, and they tracked down and purchased a new one. We have several big family events every summer (prob 1/2 doz) that they make homemade ice cream for, and the old maker they had worked like a champ forever! The first disappointment with White Mountain is that the ice cream maker they bought just a couple years ago died at the end of last summer after just 2 yrs. White mountain is an expensive brand that you expect to last, however it didn't even last 2 summers before the motor burned out! So for Christmas, my siblings and I went together and bought them a new motor top for their ice cream maker. Supposedly it will fit either size bucket, and the bucket my parents have is only 2 yrs old. However, when they tried to see if it would fit, the new motor did not! They tried every which way to make it work, but the new top was just too big and would not fit on the bucket so was returned. My mother did some looking online and read several other customers complaining that the company has new owners and since then the quality has really gone downhill. After our experience of the last 2 yrs I would have to agree! Am very disappointed to see what was once a high quality product now just another over priced piece of junk. My family is currently shopping for a new brand that will meet our families needs :(
