Following the tragic passing of Leicester owner, Vichai Sirvaddhanaprabha, in a helicopter crash I decided to relive that famous Roy Of The Rovers moment when Leicester City took on the big spenders of the Premiership and made us fall in love with cheering for the underdog. This celebration DVD of the amazing achievement that, not only caused tremors in the English game, but also worldwide, looks back at the season, showing highlights of all the games (league and cup) as well as featuring extras including the Premier League Trophy presentation, the victory parade and tunnel cam footage. Follow the Foxes as they never quit and are always fearless in their quest for glory. The highs and lows of the season, the team spirit, the rather fortunate breaks that came their way during games with some borderline offsides and penalty appeals. Every team gets them in most games, but to enjoy watching a team such as little Leicester getting the breaks make it all the sweeter. The leap out of your seat and punch the air moments when The Foxes fight back and that oh so sweet moments when the Premiership Trophy finds a new home in the East Midlands.Most poignant footage when watched today, is of Vichai leading out the club at the trophy presentation. A man loved by the club, the officials, the players and the fans. A man who embraced the city and its community. A true breed of owner more interested in giving back to the people. In a world where many football teams seem distant from the fans, where owners seem faceless and where the impression is given, when you watch the features on Match Of The Day about football in the community, that players and officials attend community causes because it is in their contracts, it was refreshing and heart warming to see a genuine family club achieve such success. Success which could only have been bettered by lifting the Champions Leauge the following season. Something which, although given their best shot, did'nt happen and with dipping league form led to the departure of the architect of the success story, Claudio Ranieri.There's no doubt that Vichai was a shrewd businessman. His business brain could'nt be faulted seeing the potential in Ranieri to take Leicester to the summit of English football. He gave Leicester their Roy of The Rovers moment, the kind fans and aspiring young players dream of. Took on the big hitters in the Premiership. Made us cheer for the underdog, believe in miracles and made football a really beautiful game!

Leicester City Football Club: Premier League...This is a two disc DVD showing the review for that magical 2015/16 season when Leicester City tore up convention and showed the money boys of the Premier League how to 1. play as a true team, 2. score goals 3. entertain and 4. give long term supporters a nervous condition.At the start of the season, quoted at 5000/1 to win the league , the first disc shows all the goals as week by week they proved all the pundits wrong and gradually earned their respect. Disc two shows the open top bus parade through the City to Victoria Park and the reception when they arrived. It was truly astonishing seeing how many gathered to pay tribute to the team and was estimated at just short of a 250,000. If I have one reservation it is the length of time devoted to the bus parade and would have preferred some of the pre match entertainment at the last home game which was truly magical.For City supporters this is a must have and chances are they have already bought a copy but it would not surprise me to find this being viewed by many of the other Premier League teams to see how it was done.

Excellent quality and delivery

Was this the greatest footballing achievement ever? The debate will continue but it has to be up there with the very best. As a Leicester fan of over 20 years I never thought I would see the day but the unbelievable came to pass and now I can keep this Blu Ray forever as proof!The footage is of reasonably good HD quality on the whole with only a few matches looking a bit dodgy (non-HD) in places. All the goals are included along with some of the best chances and other significant happenings like sending offs etc. The commentary is from a variety of sources and much of it is not from Sky or BT Sport, generally it's okay though.I would have liked to see the goal times given in an unobtrusive way when the goal was scored, would have helped get more of a feel for the match. Also they probably should have had just a little linking commentary during the bits where they showed the state of the table throughout the season, would have helped get a feel for how things were. Still overall I was very impressed.The extras are where this Blu Ray really shines, and made me confident of giving it 4 stars out of 5: 90 mins of the victory parade and the players on stage at Victoria Park, 30 mins of the trophy celebration after the Everton game and 30 mins of in-the-tunnel footage. A great record for this fan to keep for life.

You can see what's on this DVD, and if you're looking at it that means you'll probably love it. All the goals, including the few scored by opposing teams. A few fun extras. Any limitations are those imposed by the format - players such as Kante and Morgan will never get their due in these roundups because they don't score the goals, and that's not this DVD's fault. I can confidently say that this is my favourite Leicester City season review DVD and this is unlikely to change.

A must have record of the most amazing sporting story.....ever!It's great that the club included the second disc with extended coverage of the trophy presentation and the open top bus tour (though that is about twice as long a feature as it needed to be!). Disappointed the 'hairs on the back of your neck' Andrea Bocelli pre match entertainment is missing though. Somehow, showing 40-odd sets of match highlights one after the other doesn't do justice to the amazing momentum and belief which developed over the second half of the season.

QUALITÀ VIDEO ED AUDIO INECCEPIBILE! Così ci si può godere appieno la cavalcata dei tifosi col boato del pubblico. Eccitante! Nulla a che vedere con dvd spazzatura che si comprano in edicola e che hanno un sonoro pari a zero. Chi ama il calcio DEVE COMPRARLO...ANCHE COSTASSE 50 euro!
