Very pleased with this
Very pleased with this. My husband has had a stroke, affecting his left leg leg and arm including his hand. He has recovered some ability but is still unable to manage socks even with one if those sock-aids with straps. This "sock on/sock off" is working for him. The "sock off" stick thing is really easy - such a clever design which, if you follow the instructions, allws you to get the sock over the heel and off. It even allows you to pick the sock up from the floor! The "sock on" section is also good, but not quite as easy for him to use, There is now enough use in his left hand to get the sock on to it, but it's a bit of a struggle because it's such a tight fit. I tried and found it really hard but I expect you get the knack when you use it a lot. We wonder if it is designed for bigger socks? His are "standard" mens socks -he takes a size 8 shoe. I am a size five and I don"t think I could get my socks onto it, even with two good hands. I wonder if it comes in a smaller size.I mention this just for information, not to criticise. I and, more importantly, my husband think this gadget is really good and worth try by anyone who struggles with socks. There are several really helpful videos showing how to use it on You Tube.

Better than nothing - has enabled me to get my socks on, but not as good as claimed.
I’ve been using this for the past few weeks as I’m recovering from a spinal injury. It’s okay, but I wouldn’t say it’s good, although I don’t know if there is anything better available. It didn’t come with any instructions for assembly or use, which might be an issue for some people. I found a YouTube video of using it. It has certainly made it possible for me to get the front half of my foot into a sock, which I couldn’t before, as I’m not allowed to bend down at the moment. It took a while to find the best way to do it - putting the sock heel in the space then rolling the top down over the device. However, I found I usually had to lift my bent leg up to be able to pull the rest of the sock up. Not a problem for me but might be for others with greater mobility issues. I can’t imagine for a moment you could put compression stockings on with it, as claimed, but haven’t tried. The top part of the handle has twice pulled out of the bottom as well. If this was a prototype for a device I’d say ‘keep working on it and it could be really useful’. As it is, my verdict is ‘better than nothing’.

Excellent device for helping people with difficulties put on their socks or stockings
Easy to use device for those with difficulty putting on socks and stockings.. Plenty of instructions all saying much the same thing. It is accompanied by a long stick affair which most people will never use, so most people can ignore it.My problem was that I could not reach either fot with both hands at the same time, which led to extraordinary contortions putting on my socks. When the sock is placed on this device I just stick in my foot and on goes the sock. Yoy need to have the open end of the sock folded well down the outside of the device, for the sock is only held in place by friction. But you soon learn. No problems in the mornings now. The accompanying rod can apparently be use to push off socks, or as a shoe horn, but I have nevered needed it

I Do recommend this product if you have difficulty bending
It does take a bit of practice, but once you've learnt the right technique this is a handy little gadget. I even use it to put on knee high pressure stocking.I Do recommend this product if you have difficulty bending.

Waste of money
Useless.I bought it because I had an operation on my right hand and thought it wold help me to put my socks on. to start with, it is really hard trying to stretch the sock over the top of the device, when it is finally in place, I put my foot in and the sock came off the device so I had to bend down and use my bad hand as well to pull the sock on. then of course you have to use one foot on the base of the thing to keep it in place, otherwise it just tips over when you are tying to get your foot into the sock. Waste of money, does not do what it claims on box.

At last I can put my own socks on. ...
At last I can put my own socks on. Works well. However, on ladies small socks, the top of my sock was very tight and I had to really stretch it so I bought new socks with a wide rim.

Not Good At All
Not good - poor quality plastic and the top keeps coming out of the bottom as you put sock on. Rubbish and does not work. So disappointed - plastic cheap and bendy .
