Onces washed out (takes some time!), the hair appears coloured a copper colour. It returns my hair from the dull greyish colour it's become (used to be auburn) to it's former glory and looks very natural - people usually think it is natural. I use colour 060 (called walnut red brown or nut brown).It is messy to use - like putting warm mud all over your hair - but I manage to clean up the bathroom without any stains. It smells very earthy like grass, which I like. I leave it on for 2 hours and then rinse it off in the shower with lots of hair conditioner and a brush.
