1000% buy
I’ve been running some 15$ bike gloves for the last year only until I seen another biker go down and loose his finger. I went out and came to the conclusion by how expensive and how comfortable. Couldn’t test how durable tho until last week. Yes it is touch screen sensitive. Yes they are a little stiff. And yes the pink finger being stitched to the ring is even more uncomfortable. But after going down at 60mph. My hands have never been better. The gloves are gone. Shredded and blown up but my hands are still typing this without a scratch.

I recommand the product
The look good, good quality too, But the Wrist is tight for the hand of my husband. I order L first finally got the XL, but it's still tight on the wrist. We keep them, the price is good but I think, he will wreck them, tearing them apart by fighting to put them on. Will see how long the last...

Newer version of an old glove
I bought these to replace a 15 year old SP-2 pair that had finally worn out. There are a few differences:Knuckle armorSP-2 - carbon fiberSP-8 - plastic (w/vents +)Velcro closureSP-2 - single closure at cuffSP-8 - closure at cuff and just past palm heelFitSP-2 - awesome fit right off the shelfSP-8 - not as awesome, but that may or may not have something to do with being 40 pounds heavier than when I bought the SP-2's, and the SP-8's aren't fully broken in yet.So far I am quite happy with the purchase and I hope I never get to find out how they hold up in a crash. Would I buy another pair of SP-8's? Yup, without hesitation at this point. But, as they say, YMMV.

Saved my hands
Went down after hitting a groundhog about 50-60 mph. Glove palms slid on the ground about 20-30 yards. Gloves are tore up but my hands aren’t. Spend the money they are worth it.

Super Comfortable!
You can’t go wrong w/ Alpinestars gloves! Replacing a pair that I have had for 20 years. I am extremely impressed with the comfort from the very beginning. Gloves are very snug but will only get better w/ more wear.
