Great brush, feels solid and premium at a non-premium price. Recommended!
I needed a beard brush because my beard was getting a lot longer and difficult to manage. I scoured the internet for good boar bristle brushes but the good ones seemed to come in at £20+ and I just wasn't looking to spend that much money. Then I stumbled upon the Jack Dean's Military Hair Brush. It appeared to be made solidly, of good wood, and came in at a price I was very comfortable with paying. I thought there would be a catch when it came such as poor build quality, but not at all! Brilliantly built, very sturdy bristles, and not too hard to clean. There are usually reports of people losing boar bristles with continued use, but I use it everyday and I personally just haven't seen many losses. This brush like all boar bristle brushes will gather dust and grease very easily, so I've found the best rules to follow in order to keep a clean strong brush: a) brush before putting any product in your hair, and never use the brush after product is applied. This tends to make the brush very greasy and oily, and a dust magnet, which leads to my second point.b) always put the brush back into the plastic box it came with when done, and close it. Or alternatively, any sealed container will do. The idea is to stop dust sticking to the brush and then applying that to your hair with every usage.c) clean out the hairs by hand every few days, just a gentle pinch will do. Every few weeks give it a good rinse under water, and every month or so, give the bristles ONLY a good soak in shampoo, a good scrub and leave to dry. With the tips out of the way, brilliant solid boar bristle brush at a great price. Highly recommended!

Excellent Men's Hair Brush
My immediate thought on using the Jack Dean Military Maple Brush was that it was how I remember hair brushes used to be when I was a boy. These days I have fine white hair. It brushes really well. Plenty of bristles, good length and the right hardness.

A revelation
I never thought I would write a review for a hairbrush, but, having brushed my own hair for well over 50 years, this brush is a revelation. I think I never went for a brush like this as it was similar to what my father used and I didn’t want hair like that, and my hair is better than his was and at this age there is a lot more than he had, but, like brogues, tweed, and all those chappish essentials I find previous generations were right. My hair is fine but has a will of its own and this brush controls it, helps give it body and is streets ahead of my old brush, which I thought was good, but plainly through Ignorance...This hairbrush is brilliant. If in doubt buy it!

Excellent hairbrush at a great price
I’m a bloke with shirt, thick but easily managed hair. I can wash it, towel dry and finish withA brush. Having had my previous hair brush for about 45 years I decided it was time for a replacement. Looked at some in shops and eventually chose this. It’s perfect. Soft enough to brush my beard but firm enough to style my hair. And it looks great too.

You get what you pay for! Good quality
Great quality. More pricey than the others but you get what you pay for and I’m glad I got this. Will last a long time just like the one I got before. The bristles don’t fall out like the reviews I have read on some of the others.

Worth the money.
Excellent value brush the thickness of the hairs in my opinion needs to be more dense plus the hairs are black and my hair is white so you see all the loose hairs on the brush but thats a minor thing.
