Manual drill
A real quality product. Handy for drill pilot holes or small jobs where you only need to quickly drill a few new hole.

Nice Remake of the old Stanley
If you owned or used the old Stanley push drill and miss having it around, this is a nice replacement tool. While it doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as the original, this is a good drill, especially if you treat it with a bit of care. There is a complete set of bits included, and the bits work well. If you’ve checked out eBay, then you have seen the sad, incomplete state of most of the offerings for the original Stanley. This is a good choice, and I’m happy to have it around so I needn’t pull out my bigger power drill for smaller jobs. Recommended.

Doesn't hold bits
The small ball that locks the bits in place comes out (or falls inside?) the first time it is used, allowing all bits to just fall out on use. Happened with two different ones, returning both.

Indispenable tool for all
My dad had a Yankee-style screwdriver, and when I helped him around the house during my early years, it was one of the most interesting and fascinating of all his tools. I hadn't thought much about it until recently, when I had a rash of screws to screw in or out, and they were the kind of screws that a cordless driver was a little too much, and a regular hand-powered driver was a pain in the butt after a while. Epiphany struck, and I thought, 'damn, I wish I had one of those racheting screwdrivers like Dad used to use..." Hence, the Yankee-style driver. In a tight spot, they're much easier to use than a normal driver, and because of the in/out motion rather than the circular motion for even a 'standard' racheting driver, they're just so much more convenient. My Kings County drivers is perfect, well balanced, smooth, and has an easy to use thumb-catch to toggle from in to out to fixed. Extra bits are stored in the hollow handle, and there's even enough room there to store another couple of bits if you have a favorite style or size. The bit-holding mechanism is secure, with a nice, tight metal band around the holder itself. Dad's tool had a smooth, beautiful wooden handle, but in these days, you get plastic, that's just the way it is. Of course, the old tool couldn't store extra bits, and if I remember, it didn't have removeable bits - just a fixed, slotted drive blade. This Kings County tool is a must-have, especially for any homeowner who needs to be able to grab a screwdriver for a quick tighten or loosen job, and doesn't want to mess with a cordless or dig through the junk drawer for the phillips or the slotted or the square drive or the hex drive or the star drive...They're all in one here. Highly recommended.
