I ordered this to use for my pin pointer while metal detecting. I was hoping it would be strong enough to keep my pinpointer retracted and it did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, the retractable lanyard is strong enough that I'm afraid to release the pinpointer to auto retract for fear of breaking something. It is very strong and the magnet ensures that it won't unroll slowly over time. Also included are multiple methods to attach numerous items which is an added bonus. The options are almost limitless. I haven't used much so I may edit my review after some time, but based on the feel, I don't think that will be necessary. Would definitely recommend.

I did some research before purchasing. I doMaintenance and have many different keys I carry. I wanted something that reached far enough and had the ability to retract a lot of weight and we able to hold itself. This one is what I ended up going with and it was perfect. Not heavy, but certainly can retract and hold weight. It has a magnetic when it’s retracted all the way. Looks bulky but honestly it’s flat and when it’s clipped to my side I don’t even notice it. I work with it on, lay on it, I swing it around and whip it like a yo-yo and it sounds like spiderman slingin web so it’s durable. I have not had one problem with it. It is exactly what I was looking for. If anything ever happens to it, it’s cheap! It also can be bought as a 2 set. I got myself and my assistant one and we love em.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I use these at festivals and it gives me so much peace of mind. I can enjoy the music without worrying about pick pockets or accidentally losing my phone. Highly recommended.

I need it a solution to stop leaving my phone at work, now I have my keys with the phone. Can’t start a car without the keys. Thank you it’s strong to keep everything together.

I grabbed this item to tether a small but expensive pocket flashlight to my belt loop. I drive tractor trailer and a light is essential for me to do my job. I was so tired of losing flashlights and my rechargeable batteries. This will definitely eliminate that loss now. The retraction is so nice as I can simply let go of light and it is safe. I have lost several flashlights by either missing my pocket putting it back or they work out of pocket through movement. Highly recommend this for similar use. Would be good for a smaller knife or set of keys etc as well. Well worth it and very happy with this product.

Very very helpful! I'm able to just clip it to my clothes and I don't have to worry about my phone falling. The tension is very strong and the retractsbility is instant. I could swing my phone around and it barely stretched. (not extremely violent but still more violent than anyone would do by accident) it is definitely heavy duty and I think it was good for the money I paid.

Bought these for festival use and they worked great. They have a very strong retractable cord and magnate. It holds the corded item to the base very strong once retracted. I had my phone on here and the magnate held the phone right up against the base. I was able to hook on my S22 Ultra, Ear plugs, ear buds and hand sanitizer on the very large Caribiner style clip. The length of the cord was enough for me to bring up the phone while connected at my belt loop.
