The subject matter of the book is as interesting as I hoped, having been researching the Dunkirk Evacuation full-time for over a year now; - well wrttten, Mr. McKay; - and my copy was clean and tight though sold to me as "second-hand".But I DO have issues with the Type font and print quality used by the Publisher. I think the Publisher made poor choices, trying to save money on the production costs.The printing looks to me as though I've chosen "9pt Font" and instructed my inkjet printer to do a "fast" print using minimum inking, - anyone whose has done Desk Top printing will understand my Critique - so the print throughout the book is tiring to the eye, and difficult to read unless under excellent lighting. [ I should add I have 20/20 vision!]So - rather than being an easy-to-read research tool I am happy to consult frequently, it will instead be a research tool I shall have no pleasure in consulting because the print is so tiring to read..
