Birdies 6 in 1 Raised Garden Flower Planter Bed Cream Merino Coated Steel 40cm Height

Looking at raised bed kits and I know Birdies are very popular with bed growers worldwide so I thought I'd give this one a go! I've uploaded a few photos so you can see it in the flesh.I already have a few galvinised beds that were way more expensive than this one. . . so how did this much cheaper one measure up?What do you get?The kit - 10 sections and 50 washers, wingnuts and bolts plus a tightening tool (so no need for anything else!) a rubber edge/strip to that goes around the top when erected and instructions of course.The ten sections are made from powder coated steel which are covered with a protective film that is easy to peel off.There are several different ways to build this raised bed - I chiose to build it long using all the sections. The other ways you can make this up are in the instructions.It took me about 30 mins to build the bed and fit the seal around the top edge.Once built I found this one really solid and very well made. I got the one in the cream colour and it looks great in the garden. I filled it with 380 litres of my own mix of compost - vegetable soil and perlite.At the moment I have 40 onions growing in this and plan to grow rainbow chard - tomatoes - carrots and cauliflowers in it using the square foot method.Really happy with this raised bed and cannot wait to see how much I can grow and harvest from it this season. It absolutely compares with the beds I have paid three times more for - it certainly looks nice in the cream colour.Definitely recommended and I'll probably buy again when ready.!

Unbelievable quality and value for money. These things look awesome in my garden. Easy to put together, if not tiresome due to the number of bolts, but they are great. Multiple options on shape and size when constructing. The steel is thick and sturdy, and the colour finish is excellent. Purchased the green one, followed by the cream after I was impressed by the first item.

These are such a good buy, I'm glad I bought two! So easy to put together and I love the look...makes a nice change from all the wood planters on offer. I was surprised how strong they are, as for the price I was expecting very flimsy metal and very sharp edges and was pleased to find neither to be true.

Awesome product, great value for money, fast despatch and delivery. Ordered another one upon arrival, it's that good. Easy to construct, I arranged the size, and secured it and then my 6 year old took over fitting in all the bolts and nuts.

Really pleased with my purchase. They look great and my husband said they were very easy to assemble. I would like to buy more but they are not available anymore.

Was very happy with the birdies raised garden planter bed.it had arrived a day early.l was at home.when I I receive it.have made up three of the designs I want to use for my summer bed and maybe beyond that.the colour matches the front of my house.with be needing two more of these later on.

Quick and easy to assemble and they look amazing. Great value for money.
