Great memo/field books! At 5 per pack around $10 these are a much better deal than some others, although these aren't waterproof. Usually I buy rite in the rain but those are pretty pricey (although completely waterproof). Since I don't normally use my field books in the rain I think the Field Notebooks by Elan will certainly fit the bill for me!!

As always I should have paid more attention to the product details. This is not a field book as used in construction. They are small and will fit in your shirt pocket. A rip off of a better item. I paid the price for not paying attention.

Great little books for jotting down phone #'s, passwords and all the other things you need to keep track of. I keep one on the living room coffee table, one in my briefcase, one in the car and one in my jacket pocket. I always have a scratch pad that way. The fact they're bound books means I can file them away for future reference in case I have to go back and find a lost phone or email. Quality of construction and paper is good. Will handle fountain pens and highliters.

These are great books that fit in your pocket nicely. Great for noting down lists or things to remember. Seems like it takes forever for my phone to do what a pen and paper does in 2 seconds. Why didn’t I start using these long ago?

I wanted a normal diary - something that I could record about on the daily. I also love the look of a field book a lot - I just never found something that blended the two easily. So I just bought the field books. They're lovely and the yellow is so nice, but this will definitely have to be for short journaling/thoughts.

Small and easy to access for notes and data entry on the fly.

Absolutely ideal to be included with significant tools to record when maintained or anything else happens. May need to put inside of a plastic bag to keep oil at bay. Have purchased several times. Yellow, for an unknown reason, is least expensive.

Nice size for pocket or purse. I frequently need something to jot down an address or other notes. I don't need something fancy; these do the job.
