Elixir Strings 16541 Nickel Plated Steel Electric Guitar Strings with Nanoweb Coating, Set of 3 Pieces

Elixir last for years and retain their tone/twang, normal strings do not. They must be the best strings you can buy. I was recommended these years ago by a retailer. He said if we could not sell a guitar for some months then we put Elixir strings on it. Them it would sell within 2 weeks. Cheers N.

Having been resistant to using coated strings, I bought a set of these a few years ago and was very pleasantly surprised by how good they are. They really do last and retain their tone for much longer than none coated strings and are well worth the extra money. Having been converted I now use Elixirs on all of my guitars.

Excellent strings that maintain their tone much longer than others I have used. I seem to have very corrosive sweat but these last about for times longer than non coated strings

I have no need to used them yet, but I visually checked with my Microscope and they are coated and genuine.....The previous sets I got from eBay were phoney (didn’t have scope then) when I eventually fitted a set, they sounded bright for about 2 hours of playing, then they went really dull in the middle of a gig..... As too much time passed since purchase, eBay and PayPal didn’t want to help in any way and I was left with 6 sets of useless strings, so it’s Amazon from now on.

I use these strings on all my guitars for the clarity and brightness of the sound, not forgetting that changing strings is a pet hate of mine (have been doing it too many years) I can keep these strings on for Months of rehearsing and not having worry about the strings breaking on stage!!

I have been using elixir coated strings for years, I dont use anything else, period.
