they don't fit together
Both of these items fit onto my mouthpiece, but not at the same time. The cap is for use with the other kind of ligature, the one with two metal rings joined in the front.

Good Ligature
Good ligature. Fits perfectly on my Bari hard rubber soprano mouthpiece. My mouthpiece runs a little smaller than most hard rubber pieces. Can’t beat the price.
