| Dry Shake Concrete Dust-On Color Hardener for Concrete Pigment Powder (Sandstone)

I purchased this color hardener (Adobe Brown) because I was tired of the look you get with integral color. I wanted a dark brown color that would be durable and not fade. I have done about 5 tests at this point and it is not achievable with this product. When I first apply the color hardener to fresh concrete the color is a nice dark brown, but over the next 24 hrs it fades/lightens up the same way that integral colors do. The final color after a few days is more like "mesa buff" which is several shades lighter than the Adobe Brown that I wanted. I have Scofield color hardener on my bedroom floor and it went on dark red and stayed that way; so I know it is possible to have a non-fading color. Either I was shipped a defective color, the wrong color, or this company's products are just not good. I would have contacted the seller directly rather than resorting to a review, but I see no way to contact either Waltools or Decorative Concrete Solutions on the Amazon website.
